I need to do those two things to the truck still. Along with some seafoam and a plug change and it should be purring like it was new again.

So i picked up that light bar today...gonna have to hold off on installing it though. Gotta head back east for a family issue.

Picked up a Samsung B860 50" plasma TV, one week old, however; wife wants a LCD and Video Only is lame and wont take it back since I don't have the damn box anymore. Cost 2100.00, willing to sell it for 1850.00 if anyone is interested. No real rush, dealing with video only on maybe trading it, they are being ass holes though. Word of advice NEVER EVER BUY THERE!!!!!

What? Why not just keep it now that you bought it? There are both pro/cons for plasma so unless she really knows what she is talking about I would just keep it. I just bought a samsung 50" plasma last month and love it. Better viewing angles, better blacks, more natural colors. But video only sucks balls. My sister bought a set from them, had them deliver it. They delivered it but it was a display model and used, they called them up and video only refused to take it back. So she said fine, she'll call the credit card company and file fraud since she paid for a new set. They said fine, they would take the set back but they are not allowed back there. Video only is a joke. My gfs parents bought a new tv from them over the summer, transaction was ok, they went there because their family always buys from them so they got a decent deal. But while I was there, i saw a chick with a dolly moving tvs around and she knocked over two large LCD tvs, so yea.

most of the time fry's have the best tv deals so i don't even consider going to video only. i think their pricing isn't all that great either.

i bought my samsung 50" plasma little more than 2 years ago for $999 and its been great so far. bought it from magnolia when they had a misprint ad and i was the second to last to catch that deal. same tv was selling for $18~2000 during that time.

240sx update...

installed this monday
- brembo slotted rotors front
- brembo oem replacement rotors rear
- hawk hps pads

just now
- ngk platinum plugs

sometimes it amazes me how good these older beaters are running without proper maintenance..

Alright so I guess I was misquoted about the window tint... :\

The $239 is for the Color-Stable film, and if I want this Crystalline tint it's $599 for the whole car! The guy on the phone said it blocks out more heat than limo tint, but still, $600 for window tint is too much... I doubt it would be much cheaper elsewhere. Ron Tonkin Acura quoted me at $800 for the Crystalline stuff.

i think hawk hps is pretty good on the 240. but my feeling is biased since i upgraded from cheapest napa pads with old rusty rotors to brembo and hawk setup.

and i'm not a fan of ebc rotors/pads. if you remember i went with ebc setup on my tl and they weren't that great performance/durability wise.

is that crystalline a new film made by 3m recently? 3m recently came out with a film that transfers zero heat no matter what the percentage of the films are. if i remember correctly, i was quoted about $500 to tint the 4door sedan with this new film

Yeah it's their newest tint.

And yeah the tint sounds like some real primo stuff. Like it's apparently supposed to filter out about 99.9% of all UV rays. What'd be cool is if I could get a crystalline film with no tint to it at all, placed on my front windshield... Also, the lowest you can get that crystalline stuff is 40%, which doesn't look that dark at all (at least from the picture I've seen)

Dont know if you guys have heard about this or not. I read about this in a couple of magazines about this site BFG has created.

I just signed up for it and it seems pretty cool, basically a map that people can show others of good roads/trails along with pictures.

Well damn, I got a small-ish bonus at work. Kind of a surprise It's about $415, so I'll definitely be putting that towards window tint. Still dunno if I should get the crystalline or not. I was going to get the color stable... until I found out I was getting a bonus. Now I have the money to get crystalline, but I'm unsure if it's worth the price, especially in Oregon weather, etc.

I envy your bonus lol. Around where i work it's looking like no bonuses and another year without merit raises. Looks like this will be my second year at this shit hole without a raise and more responsibility... (sense my distaste).

Nice to see that my username is still somehow in the tags on this thread. LOL

Curious, anyone in here have a set of 07-08 OEM TL or TL Type-S wheels they want to offload? I'm in the market for a set of either. Don't care which as long as they are from those years.

Like I've said before, "added" benefits crystalline provides doesn't offset cost in my book. And with darkest option being 40%, it defeats the purpose of a tint IMO...I like dark windows.

07-08 TL-P wheels are the twin spoke ones right? I like those over the older ones..can't quite figure out why tho. I guess I'm just a fan of twin spokes..

Whats up boys, there is an event at Honda of Hillsboro this upcoming this weekend, Jay and I will be there and it would fun to have a group of guys. Below are the details.

Please come and join us as we welcome the Oregon/SW Washington chapter of the Honda S2000 International Club. We are hosting nearly 40 Honda S2000's at our Dealership on Saturday January 30th from 10:00am through 2:00pm and we will be serving Hot Dogs, Sodas, and Chips.

It is a rare opportunity for any car enthusiast (and those of us who want to be) to see so many of the same car spanning many years in just one location. These owners are extremely proud of their vehicles and welcome the opportunity to be able to share this time with all of you. The owners have chosen Larry H Miller Honda Hillsboro as their venue to display their cars. We are honored to have them right here in our community and extend this invitation to you, your friends and family. Please come and join us at this event. It should be a fun time!

I'm looking for 07-08 TL/TL-S wheels specifically because they are 17x8, thus allowing me to run a wider tire. I want OEM because they keep the sleeper look I'm going for. My 17x7 stockers on my Si aren't going to cut it when I turn my boost up here in a week or two. I'm going to be running 12-14lbs of boost... approaching 400hp... I need more tyre
