Thought I might introduce myself, I have been on this board for like 4 years, I got Banned around a year ago when I got into it with a Mod after he told me I should rot in jail for a bicycle crashing into me on Cornelius pass, anyhow.

I live in Scappoose Oregon and I drive a 2003 NBP Cl-P, I used to go under the moniker of Scholtew.

oh yes.. i remember you i am on your side due to the bicycle issues on backroads..

IMO they should be banned to only roads with bicycle lanes or side walks, if they want to share the road they should be licensed like a vehicle and pay regular fees

damn you are adding some miles to that infiniti arent you? haha i would suggest the 240 for the drive but im sure it wouldnt be as comfy.

if my wife lands her job next month (currently working as a temp) we will be checking out new vehicles.. she was leaning towards the A3 audi but i think i have her talked into the G37 =)

fx will sure gain some miles that haven't been used past three months (only used about 1100 miles so far). and no way of taking 240 it won't even fit three luggages.

a3 quattro is nice but its too cramped inside. and g37 is much sexier and nicer overall. go for g37x if you can.

A3 is hot. my sis picked up an 08 last year. She wanted the 09 but it was a lil too much for her. too bad cause the lights are hawt. Pretty nice vehicle still. the suspension is sporty. i've seen some lowered ones around town, pretty nice.

i'd take the A3 over the infinty for its cargo room.

Finally gettin some lowering springs or the aspec front lip. If i go with one i'm not going with the other. Only thing keeping me from getting the springs w/o any doubt is that i have a 5 month year old baby that rides with me. Don't want the comfort in the ride to change (for the worse atleast). On the other hand if i get the front aspec lip, that front wheel gap is gonna bug me til i fix it yet i hate trying to dodge or go up a driveway sideways as much as i already do with stock height without scraping.
what to do.... what to do?
springs i were considering are the tein s tech. hopefully they dont blow out stock shocks too fast.

also wonderin where to get the rear roof spoiler for a decent price? ebay for 130 shipped non painted?

With coils it all depends on how low you go. I drove Min's car once and he had lowering springs and the ride felt normal.

H-techs on my car, my son has been riding on them since he was born almost (3 years) well minus the 6 months or so I had the K-sports on.

Ride is pretty dang soft.

oh and BTW I have a new baby on the way now! ACK! lol so it'll be time to pass off the TSX in likes of a larger car or some sort.

the new A3s are nice dont get me wrong the biggest draw back though is the fact they dont hold value. also i heard that Audi's break down easily

Congrats man!

Sounds like you need to get a 4 Door Truck! All the interior of a SUV, but still have a bed for Home Depot runs. That and cool guys drive trucks

Many thanks! I am considering so many options for cars. BMW 3-series wagon, TSX wagon (when it gets here), Tahoe, TL, RDX, we have a Pilot so that makes it tough, already have an SUV so what to get, what to get...

Congrats on the new
I'd go for larger car vs. another SUV. That way you can always have the gas saver and still have room for everyone. Maybe a 3G TL or I like the look of the new Ford Taurus..

I just don't think I could bring myself to drive a ford this will by my wife and my second kid, so Preston is 3 now and now a new one coming so need something a lil bigger than your average car (TL, Accord, Camry, etc...) that's why we're looking at wagons, but there are hardly ANY options! Subaru, Audi, Volvo and BMW are the options (new mazda is just too ugly IMO).

Wagons are huge in Europe so that'd explain why the Euro cars have wagon models, though they are hard to find used around here...

My thoughts exactly on the Ford deal but they are stepping their game up in terms of aesthetics on their newer cars. And besides..Kyle drives a Ford

Like you said, hold out for the TSX wagon. Or maybe think about the Accord Crosstour/ZDX if you wanna stay Acura. Granted it's kinda ugly but Honda/Acura reliable and fits what you're looking for. All the other wagon options just seem so common and boring..IMO

Ford trucks are great, look good, perform well. The cars looks are iffy. If I was in the market for a pick up or truck I'd def look into Ford.

infiniti's awd system is attessa (rear wheel based) so it doesn't drive like full time awd cars. and g's have lotta aftermarket support too

Please tell me your HIDs don't have massive glare tho..cuz that's the most annoying thing in the world and you deserve to be flashed if they do. Weren't you the one that said HIDs don't belong in reflector housings..only in projectors? Anyways, as long as Speed did them the right way you shouldn't be getting flashed.

And aren't those supposed to be covered for normal street use? When whoever it was that brought up that fog lights can't be run on clear nights, I was looking at the laws and any accessory lights must be covered up when on normal streets. Just thot I'd let you know before some dumbass cop decides to enforce some bullshit law.

Yea i said that, Im pretty sure the Hella Headlights I have are made for HID's. They do have a subtle cut off, but nothing as defined as projectors. Ill admit i need to adjust them a little bit lower, but the only time ive been flashed is when i crested a hill.

The Hella's arent wired up as fog lights, they are acting High Beams. So the only time they come on is when the headlights are on giving them power. At that point, if i pull back on the high beam switch all front lights will be on, but if i "lock" the switch forward only the Hella's come on and the HIDs turn off.

Remember i got my veteran plates to hopefully combat stupid ass tickets.

^^ My best friend and college room mate was a Marine and had Veterans plates, and we NEVER got pulled over, even when we were doing stupid shit. The one time we did, we thought we were totally fucked, illegal U turn, open beer in the car, weed smoke smell, and the cop who walked up to the window was his commanding officer in Iraq. He just said Pattee, what the hell are you doing go home.
