If you think that TSX is bad, then I don't think your heart could take some of the crap I've seen in the 2G CL forum.

Oregon/Cali border seems much nicer than Oregon/Washington border! More scenic.

So how was the whole drive round trip? Do it again?

yea or/ca border is in the mountains (+4000ft elevation) and fx drank lotta gas trying to stay 70mph+ on uphills

overall it wasn't that bad since i only drove average of 500miles a day. but to do it again? probably not. time spent on the road and all the expenses... too much i think. it was a good experience though.

oh.. if you guys go on a roadtrip and need to spend a night, go for Holiday Inn Express. you can find discount coupons on most rest areas or places like sharis. compared to other inn and motels, holiday was the cleanest with all the amenities and free breakfast.

The exterior/chassis wasnt anything at all. Just got back from the DIY wash to blast out all the sand out of the channels and what not and it was no problem. Could have gotten it done at home with a regular hose, but i wanted to be 100% sure i got all the sand out since i was driving on the actual beach itself. Salt water is badddddd.

As for the interior...I pulled in the garage after the wash place....looked around at the floor/seats/dash and decided id tackle that later on. lol.

OMG fail on so many levels.

Not only are those brake covers but there's also a stick on the rear passenger window advertising the poser status! Who would have thought that the 3rd gen would get so much rice!

yesterday i received g37x (7spd auto) sedan as a loaner (fx is in for a oil change and rattle fix) and this car is a blast to drive. compared to g35x, this one is a beast. damn fast and nimble on corners making me want to trade in my fx for one of this

i've driven evo 8 mr few years ago and evos are raw compared to g series. its fund to drive but i rather go for more refined luxury fast that raw fast from evos. if you test drive the g, you'll really like it. this g is even faster than modded 3g tl-s

Or when ford had a couple million vehicle recalls due to the cruise control shorting and catching the truck on fire even when it was off.

Reason number 1 there is so much attention around the Toyota issue:
They are a competitor to the Government Owned Car Companies.

wheel gap on 240sx is pretty impressive huh? since its already lowered on eibach pro springs, wonder what it'll look with stock springs

probably i'll order megan street coils around next month and add some negative camber

Yea it is a good amount of lighting. But from what he says he uses his rig for they are close to useless. He seems to only use it for snow, and if youve ever driven in a wall of snow, lights only hinder not help. Kinda looks a little to "wimpy" for $1300 in lighting.

Nah, Toyota is like Honda, they stand behind the product. So if it's defective they always fix it free and fix it right the first time. Look at GM and Ford, they make giant recalls and even after they fix it the same problem can crop up again and again.

Plus I don't think Toyota's problem is any more "lethal" than when Ford Explorers had exploding tires lol. It's just now the Obama admin own GM, so for once the Government is a business and we're seeing how ruthless they are...
