OK, 21st is in the Calendar. I also put in a reminder for Friday eve so I wouldn't get to hammered the night before and pull a bottle flu again.

Damn that Mazda3 I posted earlier is sold.. Went to the dealership to see the car and actually buy one if its in good condition but its gone..

What would you guys choose between these two

2009 Altima 2.5 SL 45k miles $14995
2006 TSX 82k miles $14990

Classier TSX or Altima with lower miles

Seriously, took me an hour and a half this morning. The guy behind me I think flipped off every single person he let in front of him, including me. It's like don't leave a two car gap if you don't want someone to switch lanes in front of you!

Not to mention the d-bags that suck it up tight at the on ramps... If everyone would let ONE car in, as in, one for one, it'd go a lot faster.

And the News, oh yes on the Sylvan overpass. "The roads appear dry, but there could still be a slight possibility of slick roads somewhere around here, we just haven't found it yet, but believe me, they are slick and we'll find it and report on it."

So sad. There was snow, technically speaking. But for those of us that have seen real snow...this doesn't count. People from the mid-west would laugh at us, I'm ashamed to be called a "typical Oregon driver."

i searched for altima's reliability and they do have some issues especially with the 2.5L 4cyl engine.

so i nailed down to tsx for the accent replacement but resale on the 1st gens are still high. or somewhat it got higher than one or two years ago.

06~08's with under 60k miles are running $18~22k
my choice would be
#1. pwp/black with navi
#2. pwp/black no navi
#3. mr/black with navi
#4. whatever/black with or without navi but cheap

maybe i should wait till i find "the one" rather than doing nationwide search on autotrader and ebay trying to nab one right away.

i decided to get 4dr sedan or hatchback that gets decent mpg in cty/hwy combined with some sporty handling. and tsx will still look classy 10years down the road.

also i drove the SI sedan my friend used to have time to time, but i don't like the feel of torqueless engine. its sure fun once the vtec kicks in and rev it upto 8k redline but where the heck i'm gonna drive like that in beaverton traffic like today?

plus no leather heated seats in the SI.. the new ones are suppose to have the tsx engine in it.. so no more tq issue.. the new ILX doesnt look too bad either if you want an SI with luxury feel..

1 year later after selling the Scion im still having bad luck finding that perfect RDX.. im thinking there isnt one out there.. gonna just have to get the V6 awd version.. its starting to grow on me and to be honest the turbo RDX will probably never get a decent tuning option to unlock the turbo potential.. even if so you arent gonna push it past 350hp due to tranny..

better than yesterday but still more than usual wednesday morning traffic... going eastbound, it was clogged all the way to bethany exit yesterday. today, it started to clog between murray & cedar hills exit.

maybe few decided to hit the 26 since grass was frozen in the morning

There's a (new)2008 on CL, I forget who's got it...
Springs 4 Marco?

So much traffic for such high gas prices. Seems like the last time (2008 & 2010) that the price was this high we had way less cars on the road. These are the worst commutes I've had in years. Kinda reminds me of the good times in 2005.
Of course, I make half what I did in 2005.

woooo

'07 PWP/Black but no Nav 69585miles
Missing mud guards but come with mugen visors (fake??), roof visors.

priced right i think @ $13,850. and maybe little lesser after some negotiation.

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

problem is its located in ny, and might be prone to rusting if its a local eastern car.

seems like beaverton hyundai got a new '07 rdx. no picture yet but it says its white and only 25k miles.

http://www.beavertonhyundai.com/Vehi...visitedVD=true

but i think all you need is a infiniti fx50, slab on a lowering springs and call it a day. not much engine modding needed for this beast with 390hp v8.

'09 FX50S 47k miles $36976
Fully loaded. Even has a active damping control suspension. Heated/Cooled seats.

http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/ctd/2889354127.html

if i was in a market for another suv, i'd go buy this one in a heartbeat.

damn.. i didn't even bought the car yet but searching for parts already.

was planning to do euroR kits again but the price almost doubled compared to '06 when i bought mine.. $649 for the front and $499 for the sides, and $699 for the rear

maybe i'll just do the euroR front, leave the sides since they look identical except little more flare on the euroR, and get a-spec for the rear.

- comptech icebox intake or k&n hps short ram
- dc header (no comptech header this time.. had rattling noise issues caused by exhaust resonance)
- ur underdrive pulleys
- tein h-tech springs
- progress or h&r rear sways

Hate the white cars. Had a chance to by a mint 2001 Prelude for $5,000 from a relative of Carrie's a couple of years ago...but alas, it was white.

white cars are mint with black interior.. but a majority of the time they come with tan or grey.. which in my eyes makes them ugly... the ugliest color for a vehicle is the yellow.. dont know why they would even offer that to someone.. just plain ugly!

don't like white?

white/black combo is the best looking and very rare combo. back in 2004~2008, dealers only stocked white/tan combo and maybe one or two out of dozens of white tsx had black interior.

in '07 when i traded in my blue '05 tsx for '07 tl typeS with white/black combo, dealership had a white/black/navi tsx and i had real hard time choosing between the two.

I'm enjoying the commute with you guys. On the road between 8 and 9 coming out from the burrito going to 4th and Alder. I too started a new job, yesterday. I actually saw Allen's ass scraping in his TL as he was going to the parking garage yesterday.

Yep, something is wrong with your eyes if you buy the piss yellow ride (Celica is the worst).

Someone has to be the lowest! eDiT: You got a job at Ross dress for less?

Choppers hovering around downtown this morning. Hope there isn't another occupy march planned. I need to leave campus to drink since the big boss caught me at Cheerful Tortuous (and the Candlelight doesn't open till 3pm).

yes no cat and yes its a race header.. but i havent heard of rattle issues like the comptech when i was in chris's car i never noticed his rattle... the only complaint i have with the DC is the flexpipe issue.. i had to replace mine twice.. first was with a vibrant which was JUNK! the second was with another company.. SSworks or something and its been holding strong since

The CT header rattle was only for automatics

DC in general is not know for the highest quality standards :P Like having to weld your exhaust tips back on.

Marco can i work where you do so i can sit and drink all day? =)
I just drink at lunch on days when I feel self destructive, or have an afternoon meeting. Most of the time I'm motivated to stay sober for the kids. You know, none of the students do any kind of mind altering substances, or the like.

does dc still have issue at the flex pipe weld? thought they fixed that long time ago.

and 1g tsx at reasonable price is nonexistent right now. good condition, clean title with about 50k miles are in low $20's. i've searched auction listing too but none right now.. became rare car to find in used market.
