Honestly I really love how the Optima looks in and out. But price is out of my budget with the options I want.

Honda Fit candidate. '09 Sport with nav. But will not buy if that Parrot bluetooth is drilled on.

texted the seller but didn't get a reply, so just called. says its clean title and its his daughter's car but selling it because she decided to go back to school for master's. asked him to send me the vin and more pictures, but honestly he sounded like a hispanic fixing salvage cars acquired from auctions as a side job.

On oem shocks the ride is pretty much like stock. With the tokico blues the ride is a lot firmer but nothing jarring.

I'll measure the various clearances when I have it on flat pavement next week when I go back to work. Spring break vacation ftw!

This thing is a mint, but not sure what's that black wire hanging down on the driver's footwell. Doesn't seem like a breathalyzer related. Wonder what that is..

that car is clean.. too clean haha.. the speaker for the navi is on that side it could be a cord for the ipod or something similar.. i think breathalyzer cords are thicker and would be more towards the ECU so that would be on the bottom portion not the top of the control panel

at first i couldnt believe father's words because when i asked for vin, he said he doesnt have it at the time being and will be sending it later. about hour later, daughter called to confirm my email and sent me the vin and extra pics. found out she's still driving it to work and after checking the vin out, it came out to be one owner clean title without any accident reported.

will be taking a look tomorrow morning and bring it home if its all good. hopefully the father dont call me tonight saying the car is sold.

free Autocheck service for dealers. doesn't show detailed report, but at least you can find out if it was in a accident or not. use & eventcheck section shows yellow warning instead of green check stating its safe because she still owes bank money for the car and lien isn't cleared yet.

was going to pay $35 for carfax report, but think i'll trust this one and use that $35 to buy extra mega million tickets for tonight's drawing.

oh yea. just hoping nobody jumps on this after 5pm tonight because even the dealer can snatch this one up. from searching tsx on craigs for weeks, i found one tsx from private seller listed for $17,500 gone in couple days and relisted on craigs for $19,628 by rontonkin.

http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/ctd/2930328112.html

think this is happening because 1g tsx in dealer auction is very scarce right now. only about a dozen listed for auction nationwide and from them, maybe 2 or 3 are in good condition. in good condition, it will cost dealer high $14k~$16k after shipping. so for like this one especially an '08 model with under 60k miles, its very attractive buy even for dealer to resell for $2k~$3k profit.

do you scrape any on steep incline/decline driveways? or bottom out on tall speed bumps?

i'm going to lower it without telling my wife and she'll never find out if the car doesn't scrape or bottom out.

The tls wheels will rub a bit on crazy road variations like the coast highway because they are so flush and I won't roll my fenders. No speed bump issues, and what scrapes is the aspec lip which is a half inch below stock bumper height. If I didn't have the aspec front I wouldn't scrape on anything accept serious driveways.

i dont even need a million.. just pay off my mortgage and im a happy clam.. 360mil is alot of cheddar.. you figure your 5 most closest family members get a taste, million each, invest 200 mil rest of it could be used for splurging which is still a good chunk of change... i dont get how these lotto winners go broke so fast..

Because they give money to their family who keep asking for more when they should be giving to their friends who would like new cars... I'd sell you my TLS wheels for a spot 2 mil if you win! lol

that you never know. every time oregon gets singled out on big jackpot, so its our turn tonight so hurry up and go buy at least one ticket. no ticket no chance at all.

$640mil jackpot... $320mil lump sum cash payout... even after taking out 40% as a tax, your left with $192mil. invest that money and for a conservative 5% annual return, you have a $9.6mil income each year.

Who needs a million. I'd be happy just to win $5,000. That would pay-off the Visa/Amex and have some left over to tint the front windows on the RDX. Bought a Megabucks instead.

why not go for a tsx? or and RSX? still a nice few rsx type S rolling around
I actually intended to get an RSX-S when I went to Ron Tonkin and got my CL-S. I remember sitting in the RSX and it was too cramped for me. As a matter of fact, I remember the salesman said to me "Yeah... you don't want an RSX" Pretty audacious for a car salesman.

As a matter of fact, I was thinking of getting a Mazda RX-7 or RX-8. Maybe a white on black interior or something.... until I got cut off on I-205 by a douche driving a white on black RX Kinda funny how that really soured me.

Meh, I think for the time being I'll put some money into my CL.

So the only reason I haven't tinted the front windows yet is lazyness? Sounds about right.

CL is a great ride. Keep it/
I get sick of driving the same car everyday. But I do like the idea of keeping them each for 10 years. If the price of gas keeps going up, I may change my mind. But for now it looks like I'm stuck with these cars and the house too.

back to honda world! haha. never thought i'd be back with tsx, especially the car i owned previously. but i love the 1g tsx and this one is to keep until it doesnt run anymore.

forgot to ask what that wire was but it doesnt hang anymore. also being silver and pouring rain, i couldnt really tell the dings and dents, but nothing major. probably i can buff it out with scratch remover.

The one and only hangup I have with the CL is just that it's an auto, and I wanna get back on the manual. I love the aesthetics and all. It'd be too hard finding a car that suits all my tastes + has a manual. Not saying it couldn't be done, just would be very difficult.

Anyways, anyone ever been to CDgameexchange? I hear they have stores all over. I went in there recently and I swear almost every person that walked in needed a shower It's almost like a Wal-Mart of bargain bin stores.
