Mr. Rent-a-cop was trying to kick everyone out.. supposedly we can't stand around or meet in the parking lot, so a few peps decided to eat at buffalo wild wings. There would be at lease 25+ cars if it wasn't for mr. Rent-a-cop kicking everyone out.. Still a great drive tho...
#7007
thought for that to work you have to turn 1 car back to stock and then put it in another car.. is there a hack out to use it on multi cars??

Before you can flash your car, you have to "lock" the flashpro to the VIN in your ECU. It can then only flash that ECU until you use their software to return the ECU to the stock flash and then "unlock" it.
I can see why there would be confusion regarding dealers and reflashes since Hondata only sells their reflashes through dealers. The dealers don't do the flash, Hondata does. There is no correlation between FlashPro and the reflashes. They are two completely separate products with no hardware in common.... other than your ECU.

so how are the dealers that hondata listed on there site able to do custom reflashes?? http://www.hondata.com/hondata_dealer_reflash.html
per there site
Hondata Dealer Reflash
Perhaps the only upgrade you plan do to your car is an intake or cat-back. Maybe you're not technically minded and would prefer to put your car's tuning in the hands of one of Hondata's expert tuners. Now you can benefit from Hondata's state of the art custom tuning software with no downtime, for a new low price of $350.
Just drive your Honda or Acura to any one of the participating dealers. Within a few minutes they can install one of the many tuned base maps. If you want to go a little further the Hondata dealer can perform a custom tune.
Price
$350 - plus any additional custom tuning as arranged with your dealer.
Supported vehicles
Any U.S. vehicle supported by FlashPro.
Vehicle
Civic 2006-2011 US Civic Si
S2000 2006-2009 US S2000
TSX 2007-2008 US TSX
CR-Z 2010+ US CR-Z (MT & CVT)
How it works
1) Drive to any participating Hondata dealer.
2) The dealer connects their dealer FlashPro to your car and registers the license with Hondata.
3) The Hondata dealer then installs a basemap or performs a custom tune on their dyno.

ya wonder what that fee is..
i contacted hondata about my car doing this instead of getting a flashpro they said i would have to get a flashpro.. which i find odd.. if i bought an 07-08 ecu and put in in the car why cant i beable to do the same thing an actual 07-08 can do for a reflash? i feel like they just want more money.. haha.. oh well

Ahh this must be a brand new program they're trying out. That's what I get for having a kid and falling out of touch with the tuning community. Wondered when they'd do something like this. It's a win-win for the dealers. They get to charge for tuning on a higher volume because the customer's don't have to put the extra $350 into the FlashPro. They also get more people coming to them directly for the baseline K20z3 and F22c flashes.
Either way, it has nothing to do with you guys. You can't become a Hondata dealer unless you own a Dyno and they like you...lol. I've tried, and I own a website named after their products.

My money for FlashPro is gone.. Spent good 6 bills yesterday for my mother's early birthday gift. I bought her Samsung Galaxy S last year used for 300 on craigslist as her birthday. This year, she wanted "bigger screen" so she can see better. Samsung Galaxy S2 with 4.52" screen. 0.52" bigger with 600 price tag. 6 bills gone. Add 95 to that, I get FlashPro

So spent most of this evening w/ Vlad, guy with the Black Type-S. He helped me clear my amber reflector, black out my headlights, and put in 8k Hids. It was a fun project, the guy really knows his stuff
Here are some quick pics of how it looks...

Brandon, are you still running DC header? Flex still holding up?
Was thinking about ASP header, but I kinda don't like them not having flex pipe and 1000+ price tag. So I'm thinking about going with DC and weld in a new flex to begin with. Even with new flex cost, price will be cheaper than any other header in the market.

what about the cr-z? traded in for the S? looks like a color match of your cr-z too.
anyways very nice! congrats![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
----------
think i'll put 5zigen header on my header list.
retains the lower half of the header, and probably won't have flex issue(DC) or rattles(Comptech), and it also retains the heatshield.
maybe 5zigen header - FLP cat (also retains heatshield) - oem exhaust.
