Great deal..he must charge only the time it takes to actually do the job rather than the estimated time like other places do. And since all he works on are Honda/Acuras, these are probably a piece of cake since he's seen them so much. Just saved his number in my phone for whenever I need to get another t-belt job done!

Thanks for the reference Caesar! Oh and BTW..haven't forgotten bout the A/C lights, just haven't had time to do anything lately. School work and fiancee take up most of my time but I will have plenty of free time in about a month when I'm done with school and we'll get it all finished. Just had the temperature up/down bulb go out on me too. I'm down to auto and off that are lit with my cruise switch dark too

Paul is a good guy. He did some work for the '89 Integra I had when I moved up here from SoCal many years ago. He only works on Hondas/Acuras so he was familiar with my TL. Great prices, nice guy. There are great reviews of him online. Plays golf too. I've seen him at McKay Creek.

It's cool. I've been busy myself. Taking the kids to their lacrosse games and practices takes a lot of time. My oldest had a game in Eugene on Tuesday - they won, but it was a long round-trip drive. TL did great - I got like 30mpg.

I need to figure out why mine isn't getting very good mileage..I drive mostly highway and keep averaging ~24mpg. I think the Iridium spark plugs I installed are running rich cuz noticed the change after that job. And with the 19s, I'm getting worse mileage now. They're not too heavy but heavier than before so just more weight. Got a new K&N drop in yesterday tho so we'll see if it helps any. If not, I'll be going back to double platinum plugs when I get my thermoblock spacers...

yeah great deal, Ill have him do it in about a couple of months, I'm still at 90k and I have the vibration issue I have to address. Any of you two have it around 45-55mph? It seems pretty common, I'm pretty sure its axle so I'll swap that out pretty soon. I just swapped out my front shocks and car is cruising pretty smooth right now. Time nowadays are rough, I work 8-5, when I get off Ive been putting a lot of time working out, dropped 15lbs since feb. Then gf lives in seattle so weekends are not free. Free time for the car is hard to come by, to top it off, I havent have much time to play battlefield 2.

Yea, I kinda get a vibration at highway speeds but sometimes it's there and other times it's not. I attribute it to my warped rotors but still waiting on the fronts to get here to finish up the job and find out for sure. Keep me posted on what happens when you replace the axles, that will be the next thing to fix if it works for you. Then need to drop it this summer with new shocks..H&R sports with KYB GR2s..hoping for a smooth ride still after the subtle drop that will relieve some of the nasty wheel gap

yea I am keeping the car because i'm tired of looking so I'm just going to keep it till next summer. I currently have eibach springs, pretty dumped, it rides just the way I like it. Then I wanted to raise it, put on my ground controls, decided I dont like it, so I swapped it back to my eibach with new shocks. But I think I am going to get the tein H techs since its only like 1" drop. I'm too old to drive a slammed ride and I def dont want a stock ride. Yeah stock wheel gap is insane, my co workers are car guys so I was made fun of for about two months after I bought the car until I lowered it. TLs has one of the worst wheel gaps imo.

Does your car look like this right now? Those are 18s too

^But I bet you will never find a better deal with someone who knows what they are doing. Just make the trip. All the money you save will be worth it. And you can almost be guaranteed this guy won't royally fuck up your car unless it's a shitty part.

Fobs- yea it looks pretty much like that but I have 19s. And for some reason that pic makes it look higher than mine. I know I have a 4x4 but yours looks almost raised in that pic. I remember some of the 2Gers were making fun of your stance in that one pic from your retro thread..LOL

Some people on here get their panties in a bunch over nothing...that guy shouldn't have posted pics and asked what others thought if he didn't want to hear anything but praise (which with what he has, he'd hardly get). Mods are getting uptight too and people for stupid ish too..

picked up a vacuum pump and some epoxy just thinking of what part i want to mold and make a part or 2 from

here are my options...

spark plug cover?
the black part on the outside of the mirrors (this would be all carbon not just layed over the plastic)
i was also thinking on the inside cover part of the mirror located inside the car
my other thought is to possibly do the brackets for the ETD or some other settle spots..

any input?? i dont wanna step the line from original to gayness or over done

Just so you all know, I stuck up for our Oregon friends in that thread and could face damnation for it. I want you all to see it before/if i get booted:

So, go ahead and delete this and ban me for speaking my opinion against the A-zine czars. Hopefully enough people read it before you censor it.

if certain people had a filter from their brain to their mouth, maybe they wouldn't get in trouble for acting like 12 year olds in my thread. i knew what i was getting into when i posted my thread, why do you think i posted it? 1)i'm a member for years 2)thats what you do here, make posts about your car 3)your opinions don't matter at the end of the day.... i just wanted to use this site for what it's meant for, and people got all crazy in my thread, first about my car and then it got personal and that's why people are getting banned.. if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all, do you hear your mom right now? what DOES matter, is the choices I MAKE, not peoples negative attitudes and comments towards me or my car.

i went back and forth on if i should say anything or drop it..

but seriously.. opinions are like a$$es everyone has them some are nice some arent.. you gotta take it how it is or dont look at them..

BTW i been here 2 years too nothing new..

from what i read is that there was statement made.. not trying to start a Rap thing but it seems like guido people in the east like to do things alittle different in the west.

if you like your steering wheel cover thats your bizz
if you like your fake exhaust system thats cool good job
if you like your fake leather covering to make your interior black...i dont know what to tell you.. shoulda bought a different car with the interior you wanted to begin with..

but you comin to an oregon chat to start stuff and talking about filter to the brain is not smart on your behalf

i like how 3 of our oregon members are banned, this site and its mods are getting retarded. Those 3 guys has put so much effort into this site to get banned from one small incident. Mod should've closed the thread before it got out of hand, obviously you can see what direction it was taking. RIP boys

they can make new names. not that hard to be back.. just sad that the guy can originally give his opinion and say what crap someone elses ride is but if someone says something about his crappy mods he has to have them banned.. i wonder if he was on the 2 knee approach with the moderator? sounds like a conspiracy to me..

I hope it's just a temporary ban. Those three are big contributors.

I think there are safeguards against them joining under new names, like tracking their IP addresses. I really hope their ban is temporary. I think AZ is the place to get great advice if you own an Acura, but I've noticed that things have changed here in the past year or so. I spend very little time here nowadays.
