Hey fellas, sorry I was unable to meet up with you guys today! My buddy and I were busy installing a lift in BIG RED. My friend, Calvin, was there representing Devoted Auto Works in his RX-7. He sent me this photo:

Rice killer is supposed to be a forum where all kinds of cars: Import/ domestic come and unite as one. Usually they have their meets on Monday over at Modern Automotive Performance. Lots of nice cars there.

Whats up. Is everyone on vacation? No one has posted in a while. How is the weather in MN? I hear it is pretty hot. Well I wish I could say it is hot in Mexico, but it is not. It is quite comfortable and no humidity. I will be back on Saturday afternoon. Hope all is well with every one.

I got a fun story for you guys... Im driving home from work yesterday and the traffic is moving but not as fast as normal. Im going down 35W south in the left lane and I see an opening in the middle lane. This black camaro in the middle lane moves over into the left lane and I notice there is plenty of room for me to jump ahead of the 4 cars in front of me. I get in the middle lane and speed up and move over behind the camaro. The camaro is going just about the speed limit so I got another opening to pass him. I speed up and go around him, im not racing past him but im passing him. He was going about 60 or 65 so speed up to 70... I get passed him and hit my signal, look back and start moving over into the left lane again... well I guess he is the only one allowed to pass people cause as im moving over her zips past me and forces me to cut back into the middle lane before he hits me, but im going too fast to just move back into traffic and have to cut over behind the camaro before I rear end the car in the middle lane. So when I get back behind him he slams on his brakes and im forced to squeeze in between 2 cars in the middle lane again or I would have rear ended the camaro... So now I get back behind him and roll down my window and give him the finger, he gives a faggy wave and I just keep my arm out giving him the finger... he slams on his brakes again but I stay behind him and keep giving him the finger... Traffic now starts to slow down at washington ave and he cuts over and passes a couple of cars in front of him and then cuts back over between 2 cars and forces them to slam on their brakes so he can get in the lane... This guy is a total prick and is endangering tons of people so I just hang back... Now he gets back over into the middle lane thinking he will go faster but I catch up to him and he ends up on the side of me (this is the point I wish I had a gun) I roll down my window and give him the finger again, I notice he is a fat fucking white guy that is STUFFED into this camaro... his head is touching the roof of this car and the steering wheel is almost to his belly, he rolls down him window and says "You better watch who your racing buddy" WTF!!! So I yell back "nobody was racing you fat prick!!" But after he says that to me he speeds up and cuts back 4 cars ahead of me in my lane... I dont know what it is about My car but I seem to attract assholes on the highway....


Last sunday, Im going north on 77 and im getting onto 494 west, Im going up the ramp by the mall and I look in my rear view and this grand prix that I passed like 2miles back speeds up behind me and gets right on my ass, as we are going around the loop the road is getting smaller. Im doing the speed limit and this asshole tries to go around me right before the little tunnel If I didnt speed up he would have forced me into the wall just so he could get around me... WTF IS PEOPLES FUCKING ISSUE!!!!! Minnesota is the only place that I have driven that I have had problems like this... I have never had problems like this in California even.... and their highways are all fucked up... This kind of shit happens to me at least every other day... assholes that seem to have a problem with my car cause they have no idea who is driving it...

That's funny, I have always thought that Minnesota drivers were sheep.

Alot are but the assholes I run into are the american/muscle car drivers that must be intimidated by imports cause we produce the same or more power as their cars with smaller engines.... I was all excited about getting a mustang but this guy kind of pushed me over the edge and im not so sure about wanting to be in the same group as people like him... Its one thing to wanna have a little fun with someone but not during traffic where you could cause a major accident because your an asshole, I have never understood people that race around on highways during busy times where there are alot of people. What really annoyed me is how stupid he looked in his car... he looked like a huge marshmallow...

Must be a "City" thing. I've never had the issue up here in the sticks. Even in Duluth I haven't had that kind of problem.

When are we planning the next meet? Seems like i'll be keeping the car at this point, I had an '03 Cobra I was going to go look at too

I totally agree with that, cause I thought California drivers were great when I was in San Diego this spring! I usually don't have problems with American muscle guys....it's usually the guys in BMWs...sorry to those of you who own them.

What kind of rotors and pads are they?
I need to get some maintenance stuff done before anything else. Power steering flush, break fluid flush, coolant flush, new spark plugs, and start saving for timing belt service.
