It was great meeting you all today. White Heat says she is sorry she couldn't make it, but will be at the next meet! Sorry I couldn't stay longer; I just got home from work... I can't wait to wake-up in a couple hours Here is a photo I took before I left; BIG RED didn't want to feel left out

Jorge, I uploaded this photo to Facebook before I left BWW... Razzi liked and commented on it instantly

Thanks for the headsup Jorge, I was just chillin at home last night, could have made the trek on over. This is likely to have been the last meet I could make since I'm moving soon.

The wagon is all set for the summer, just need to do some more work on the paint to get it blingin, but that's probably going to have to wait until I get to Texas in a few weeks.

It was awesome. Me and Janik had a great time until all of these TL's showed up. Then some guy in a Jeep came, so we left. lol

Was definately a good time though. Stayed at Como for about 2 hours, then went to BW3's. Not sure where everyone went after that though. Had about 20 show up to Como, and about 10 showed to BW3's

Sounds like the meet was a good time, I wish I could've gone..

But on a good note, the shop was able to weld my headers back together, and the whole car sounds SOOOOOO much better now, I didn't realize how much leaks the exhaust really had, but it's running smoothly now, so that's the good news from my camp..

Is anyone planning on going to the national meet in kansas this year?

Jorge, you'll have to get vids up of the newly installed exhaust!

I should be getting my taillights this week, another project added to my list. I have to get a switch wired up for my LED DRL light bar also get the light bar cut and installed. I'll start cutting open the taillights this weekend hopefully, just hope I don't cut it wrong and waste $100

Who the hell brings a Jeep to an Acura meet? It must be a Jeep thing that others wouldn't understand

Hey guys, question for you. I have a set of 18" TSW Thruxtons that I want to get rid of, wanted to see what you guys thought a fair price would be to list them on craigslist for. They have Michelin Pilot Sport tires on them...only 3 have 30-35% of useful life left...the 4th tire is shredded because the previous owner didn't believe in rotating tires or alignments? I'll post pics, let me know what you think. Thanks.

The chips, knicks, pocks or whatever you want to call them shown on the closeup of the one rim.....is pretty much the case for all 4 rims.

MNRSX,

Here is the info for the AEM v2 CAI for our Type-S. Cheapest place to find them new is XLR8 Performance. Josh (the owner) is great and is very helpful.

I'd honestly just save your money instead of getting the intake. It's more or less a sound mod for the car. Look through this thread, do the resonator delete and see how you like that before dropping $300 for the intake.

nate_0022,

MNRSX is really more concerned about sound than true HP gains, which the AEM does nicely.

This way my wife has some help when she needs it and I don't have to stress about her being on her own.

So I only have a week and a half left in Mn before I move. Anyone have a friend that wants a loft in downtown Minneapolis?

On a happy note, that means that I need to pick up a second vehicle so that I can get around in Texas. I have been looking at 911, 350Z, Corvette, and other fun cars that have very little practical value.

Good lookin' cars, guys! Hopefully one of these days the rest of my parts will show up so I can get mine pieced back together and make it out to a meet sometime this year.

Sounds like some of my stuff got shipped out today with some more following next week. I should at least be able to piece it back together enough to get it back on 4 wheels with those items. Then I'll have to play the waiting game again until the ECU is finally ready.

Thanks for the link HatTrick. I saw one listed on the BM today for like $140 and I was the first to post. Hope I can scoop that

Otherwise I have a favor to ask you or anyone else who has taken their stock intake off but still has it lying around. If I don't get an intake I may just take my resonator off and put a cone filter on the end of the tube. I would also remove the filter in my intake box.

Can someone measure the diameter of the opening of the stock intake just before the resonator (or wherever is most convenient if I were to remove it). I don't want to take my bumper off to measure, then drive out to pick up a KN filter that fits.

Ill make a DIY of my project for anyone else considering the same thing.

Great shots I have to thank ClockworkSpider and his girl for the great photos. We have to start thinking of next month for the next meet. Does the first or second Sat of next month work for everyone.

I remember you mentioning moving down there before; that seems like a good plan for your family. I think I speak on behalf of the AcuraZine family when I say I am going to miss ya and have a safe trip!

I still can't believe how sexy that a-spec type-s front end looks. I really do miss the styling of the TL compared to the G. But it seems I get to look at the front end of your cars quite a bit, so that's nice. lol

i heard they dont do tinting anymore.

i'm still looking for a good place that will tint under MN law with my medical exemption.

TintMasters in burnsville said that they'd install moleskin for me, and it would be under warranty if it was scratched. maybe i should have them put that in writing?

i've also talked to TintPros, Cooler in the Shade, and Gjerdes. any place else i should give a try?

Might want to re think that one. Left a 1/4 strip in your rear quarter window un tinted and didn't tint under your third brake cover. Those seem like issues to me lol

I went to suncontrol of MN. They installed moleskins for me and have a lifetime warranty. I went 50% which looks perfect to me.

The only issues I would bother with is if the tint fell off... Im not a psycho about how perfect everything is like you are... Probably because I have other things to occupy my time with like ACTUAL responsibilities....
