Twin Cities Acuras
Thanks to those who came out; it was a good time!
It's also fun driving back home on the highway when there's absolutely no cars anywhere! Made it home in record time!
I never thought I'd say this but I regret picking up a base manual TL. Though white and dark interior is a win win situation, having 2 6spd cars has it's downfall. One is always funner than the other. The S2000 takes the cake in this department. I know I'm gonna end up picking up a white Type S in the near future. I must be getting old because for once in my life, I rather have an automatic. LOL
On a side note....I just picked up some all season weather OEM floor mats for the TL. LOL

I've been phoneless for about 3 weeks. I'm waiting to get my new one, but it's on backorder. That's probably why I haven't seen it yet lol. I'll still have the same number.
I've heard bad things with coil overs in snowy regions, just because of the salt making it hard to adjust height because of seizing or coroding threads, but I have no personal experience with that. I love the aspec suspension though!

My Function and Form coilovers are ok, got about 60k on them right now and 2 years of winter. I usually only raise the car up about an inch or two for winter to where i have no wheel gap. One shock finally went out on me 2 months ago and I was going to replace it but I'll wait it out through winter and see how the rest hold up with our shitty roads. Coilovers arent bad as long as you take care of them and clean them off every once in a while.

Hey! I've owned my 06 MT Milano Pink TSX since May of this year. Not very long ago. But I use to own an 05 AT CGP TSX before I found this one. AT was just so boring so I sold it and found myself a MT. Got lots of plans for it! It's nice to see the Twin Cities Acura community so active. 312 pages and over 12000 posts I'm guessing you drive a 3rd gen TL Type S according to your profile pic and sig?
Nice pick up, I originally always wanted a MT TSX but now that I've have my TL, I don't think I could ever go back to those 4 bangers.

Thanks. It took me awhile to actually find a Milano Red 6spd TSX. I found a few before I bought this one but I wanted black interior so I skipped on them. I really wanted a 6spd TL-S but they were out of my price range and they are too rare to find. Is yours a 6spd? Type S? The power in those J-series engine must feel nice. I really wish the 1st gen TSX came with the option of a V6 or the i4 but it make sense why they didn't came with the V6 option. It takes a lot of performance mod just for us TSX to catch up to a TL-S.
Looks alright in pictures but in person you can really see the red fading. I am going to repaint it Milano Red that way I don't have to repaint the door jams since they aren't faded. Hope to meet a few of you guys next year though.
