I Love it cause its cool looking, Its got decent power, It fits my kids....
I hate it cause upgrading it is so fucking EXPENSIVE!!!!!! and you get minimal performance enhancement...

I have done the same upgrades to my TL that I did to my stratus except suspension and I spent less money on my stratus. Springs and shocks for the strat cost me less than 400 bucks. The same set up for the TL will cost between 650 and 850... That sux... I even did a rear drum to disc conversion to the strat and it cost me less.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to do upgrades but DAMN!!

Anybody knows somebody who drives a white 3rd gen TL with white wheels? I ran across it today again around the Brooklyn park area. Last time after coming home from installing my coilovers, we both were on hwy 252 making a left at the light. If you're on here, I'm the ssm TL that's slammed on web type wheels, full a spec lip kit & tints at the time.

Thanks for the help guys. I was debating going with the Eibach ProKit springs. Subtle drop (1 inch front/back), improved performance and looks, yet I think I would still keep somewhat of a luxury ride.. Anyone here have the ProKit installed? Any issues in the winter with it?
As for wheels, what do you guys have on your rides? I was thinking about going with some black/dark grey wheels, I have my car murdered out now and want to keep the scheme going

I have stock rims painted black with my "custom" balding tires...

I talked my dad and cousin into going with me to the Wheels of Italy this Sunday so that is my vote. I wasn't impressed with the cars at the MN compact car meet, present company excluded, and I would like to see what type of Italian cars show up. Of course I have already seen an Enzo, F40, Veyron and a Koenigsegg CCX in person and sat in an SLR Mercedes so it is hard to impress me. Or maybe it is the BMW douchbaggyness infecting me

I would rather go see the Italiano's also... Hell, even our cars are a step up from everyday, run of the mill Honda...

Hey are you coming to the Hondameet? Joe and I are going. It's in Woodbury. Some guys are going to the Italian meet. We should cruise together to the Hondameet and if it is boring we can cruise to the Italiano meet or we could go to BWW, or we can cruise.

That was my thought's as well, i know some of the guy's from the ricekiller meet's are going to the honda meet as well. Plus i like the crazy swapped civics and integra's, has much as people hate it, its' the reason most honda performance parts are made. The biggest push in real performance piece's for the J series motor's was after the Hasport started make civic swap kits.

I will say one thing, im not driving to woodbury then all the way over to Lake calhoun... My whole reason for showing up to ANY meet on Sunday is to kick it wit my boys!!! This is supposed to be an Acura get together so I think that should be the focus. I will go to either the Honda meet or the Wheels of Italy but Im only going to one of them. If the concensus is to go to the Honda meet and the majority wants to go there then that's where I will go too.

I feel for ya man... I dread the day I have to do that with my daughter. Shit, im already hating the day she brings a boy home...

I work for Fairview, but get paid by HP (so technically I would almost be considered a vendor since FV get reimbursed for my time). I used to be in IT, but now I ONLY fix HP MFP's in the Fairview network. Everything as far south as Prior Lake and Ridges, up to Chisago and Milaca. Good thing I like my car. lol

Thanks man. I thought it would be easy but its not. The day she brings a boy home you invite all of us we will have a talk with to really straighten his shit. There is nothing like intimidation.

Sounds good! Are we meeting somewhere them driving in together?

Yeah, i saw it earlier and was going to post it up here. It was good to hang out with you guys again for the day. Seeing all the turbo's really makes me want to dump the supercharger and go turbo. I have all ready checked for clearance and i think the supercharger will fit the odyssey...
