I'll keep looking for you ACK, is your buddy okay with around $80 shipped for 4?

I honestly don't know what I good deal is but everyone tells me that's good. I wouldn't spend more than that but it's hard to find a set under $100

If I am to tune with AEM FI/C,
Was curious if this step is still needed, regarding the fuel pressure regulator:

Using the supplied (2 piece) tool very carefully compress the regulator about .030”
of an inch. This can be done in a bench vice. This will raise the fuel pressure about
10 psi.

This step is absolutely required.
If you're worried about doing this yourself, both Josh and CTE will do it for you. I bought my SC used, and the original owber included a pre-crushed FPR, makes it simple, and you can throw the spare back in if you ever part the SC out.

Quick question...
How do you ID the injector to verify it's the right part?

^^ agreed. I could not find any oem part numbers, I only came up with aftermarket or refurbished ones. What else is there to be looked for? all they state is used with under estimated mileage.

Sorry Kennedy, do not know

but thank you for answering my question.
Once you change the fuel pressure regulator, it cannot be reverted back?

No. You are literally crushing it. It looks like a battery and it get "crushed" about the size of a cumb from a doritos chip. Its easy to do, getting to it is the hardest part.

you can tell, the base rsx injector has a slightly different design with the nozzle. it was either deeper or more shallow, i forgot its been awhile.

i went to a local junkyard for the final 2 injectors and the guy swore they were from a rsx-s, but a newer year which is why they looked a bit different. i drove down to RC to have them bench flowed and they didnt check out. iirc, the base rsx only uses 240cc

ok now my question is can it be crushed prior to the SC going on? and is there a diagram/part # to get this ordered prior so i can possibly send out.

The only thing i have (NOW) for the kit is this cylinder piece and some long metal rod that has 2 loops at each end. Guy said it was for 6mt only.

i want to say 290cc but not 100% sure. if you have an extra one laying arouind, you can send it to rc injectors and they will flow it for free. and let you know.

Hey 04Accord,

Is this a silly question: Other than sending it somewhere, how do i know if the injectors i purchased pre-used works?
just put them in and see what happens? ?

ya thats pretty much it. no worries though, these injectors RARELY go bad.

if your that concerned with them, ship em out to rc and they will flow them + clean them for you for about 25 a piece.

as you can see, the 4 in the middle was a set. the 2 on the ends were bought seperately from a local JY.

You are going to love the extra power. Nothing like a supercharged TL with free flowing exhaust and a custom intake. Since the weather here in Cali has been nice and cool, I have been smoking people left and right. You should be extreamly happy with your purchase.

You will lOVE it. Hearing a slight whistle during idle and that whine when V-TECH kicks in. I was scared to push it when I first got it, that is how much HP it adds on. After a while I got used to it and wanted MORE.

Doing the install too? I'm in Stafford, north of FBurg.
If you guys need any tips or tricks, give me a shout. I can't come, got family business to attend to, but can advise over the phone if you need it.
I think you'll find install a breeze once you get into it. The directions are clear as day.

Couple of things to do extra...
- Clutch slave mod if you have a 6MT. It's a royal pain to get to this post install.
- TB bypass. Just use the hoses provide to create a loop.

Let us know how it goes.

Finally!!!!

Went and met up with Escobar7 at ... in Fredericksburg today and got the SC and all of its fuckin parts I feel like there is gonna be a bolt or something stupid missing from this, but I hope there isint.

I took the battery to advanced to see if it was good and they said it wasnt so i told them to charge it overnight so I hope that works.

So my first impression is WOW this is alot of shit to put together but im very confident with the instructions and you guys that I will install myself and some local help. I will prob wait till 2 weeks from now because ill have my 5 days off and i wont have to worry about rushing and needing the car.

I still have to get some more stuff like 2 more injectors and the spark plugs and this Aem Fic because i dont think im gonna mess with that ACM. Eventually i will spring for the Aem Meth kit but its not required now. And some gauges and stuff.

So my question is if i get this Fic will someone hook me up with a basic tune I think Kevin ACKTL05 offered me his but im not sure.

Well off to the pics so u guys can see what i have ahead of me and what i have.

Fits nicely in a Injen intake box

Box of bolts and the intake tubes and battery relocation box and other stuff

More hoses

It reminded me of a gatling gun from predator LOLz

This bad boy is fuckin heavvvvy

well going out to dinner so ill be back on here in a couple for any questions

^Awesome! congrats dude, you're going to love it.

As for the install there's all sorts of random parts, when I pulled my blower it seemed like a BAGILLION little steps. The good news is that there was nothing really complicated during the install.

Oh, also make sure you have all your tools handy, especially all the smaller wrenches, you'll need to get into some tight spots at weird angles .

nice!!

if i were you, i would get the meth kit now, and at least plumb the vacuum line and nozzle right underneath the blower outlet since the you have access to it and put it as close to the housing as possible. otherwise, you'll have to pull the blower back out to do this later.

AEM kit for 300 is a great deal. I would say you do not need it quite yet, since you have the CAI and its winter. Once weather starts to break, I would highly recommend it.

I am only suggesting this in theory, but I would go with the higher end one.
Unless you are thinking about a different batt relocation(ie..trunk), the new place is under the S/C... will be a pain to jumpstart/replace the weaker one.

Just a thought.
