So the press meeting is at 3:00 Chicago time. How long after that are we going to have to wait till the reporters and Acura release all this good info to us. Time will tell hopefully no later then the end of the day. The suspense is killing me. In less then a year I will be done with Chiropractic school and off in the real world trying to make money. The 04 is good but I would love an 2010 with SH-AWD 6MT and a v6, so much so I am willing to take out a loan to get one. One can dream...

They won't come out at the same time. The '10 TSX is due in the summer and the TL in the fall. After all the hype surrounding the 6MT in the TL, why would the 'steal' their own thunder by introducing a 6MT TSX AWD first? I'm really (make that REALLY) thinking that everyone expecting an AWD TSX is setting themselves up for a BIG disappointment.

I don't think there's been an official press release and this is why. I've been saying it for about 2 years though based on good info. Can't name a source so I refrain from calling it a 'fact'

I'm talking about the info posted by VANDY on page 14 one week ago. That pretty much confirmed no SH-AWD. Of course one could conclude that it might come at MMC, but I doubt it. Of course I also wish that this is the case, but I wouldn't bet on it (or hold off a purchase for it).

^ That pricing puts it at the starting price for a base TL. Makes sense.
Here in Canada a Tech TSX with AT is already $400 more than a base TL. Can't wait to see how they work the pricing out. A V6 TSX with Tech could end up being 2-3K more than a base TL.

Press conference is around 3pm I believe. Here's a link to the live web cams at the show, in case anyone wants to watch.

Unfortunately I'll be in a meeting from 2:30-?![Annoyed](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/annoyed.gif)
Damn. The web cam for Acura's area isn't available yet.

I'd assume the one by Acura's booth, but it's not working yet. Keeps putting me back on Honda.
The icon for the camera is kind of covering up Acura's logo, but it's by Infiniti and Audi also.

I have a quick question, maybe someone can answer. If I make double payments on a new loan do I pay off the car twice as fast or does the double payment get absorbed by front-loaded financing costs?

As long as you don't agree to stupid terms like penalties for early payoff (so the shady lending institution gets the full amortized value despite the fact that you are no longer benefiting from the use of their assets), it's always best for you to pay off as much as you can as quickly as you can. Even if you pay the same amount monthly but make a weekly payments instead a single monthly payment you can save a lot of money over the course of your loan. I'm almost done paying off my 4 year loan in about 1.5 years. It will have saved me almost $2k in interest by the time it's done.

Sorry guys but the Acura event is on the grand concourse media stage, not at the Acura booth. (According to the schedule on the auto show site at least.) So we won't be able to watch it live on the cameras.
