I believe the price of the unichip is $795 and that's without the PnP harness, which could run another $150 or so. The point is jump on it now if you are ever going to get it.

 

Yea, with shipping and the PnP will be between 150-200, you're looking at around $1,000 or you can get on the GB for $700 or less..

 

Firm deadline is March 12th. Found out that my friend had canceled his PO Box, so I will be setting one up either today or tomorrow. From then on, we have 2 weeks to get the payment. I think that should be more than enough time for everyone.

I didn't know it was 150-200 for PnP harness + shipping without the GB. Did Jack tell you that? :o

You can count me in as a STRONG MAYBE. my only reservation was last time I did a group buy, it was for the infamous X CAI. I was one of the lucky people who got it, but a lot of people didn't and it turned into a huge fiasco. So what are we supposed to do, just sending a check to a PO Box?

 

there is a $100 deposit that will need to be in by march 12th. then the production of the chip and the PnP harness will begin. the remainder of the money will be due sometime in april when the above gear is ready to go.

there will be no fiasco like w/ the X cai. unichip isn't some fly by night company like that. they are a global corporation that happens to have it's R&D shop right here in portland, oregon.

the PO box info will be posted in a day or two.

As Jack stated before, he does not want to get involved in the GB money collection part (which is very smart of him by the way), so I guess I will be responsible for getting the money delivered.

If PO box don't work for some people, please provide some suggestions. The only thing I won't do, is give out my personal address.

I can take paypal, but you have to make sure you add whatever percentage paypal charges to receive money, so you can have some kind of paper trail. But mostly, I think it's best to have a Bank issued check made out to Uni-Chip, that why, the only people who can cash the check is Uni-Chip. And the people at Uni-Chip won't have to worry about a out of state personal taking a long time clearing.

I don't want to receive cash either plz...
