all u have to do to access the stock ecu is pull back the carpet on both sides of the console by where ur feet are. It's directly under ur radio and back another foot. Very easy to access and shouldnt take more than 5 minutes tops!!

Would the unichip compliment a 75 shot of N20? Or would the mapping need to be redone?

that mapping is being done on my car as soon as the PnP harness is ready. unichip will have my car for a couple days, then we'll be good to go.

i'm expecting some nice gains from a little timing retard and dialed in a/f ratio.

you should definately get in on this. i see no reason why the street/strip chip couldn't be ready when the rest are.

there's no reason why you couldn't get the chip now and headers after. you will still see gains, just not as much as after you have the headers.

that way you can get in on the group buy price and save some $$.

Any progress on a 6-Speed map yet? I surely want in, though not until they have had time with a 6 Speed.

I think vandy786 is in. If we can get mantis and cmark to confirm, we will have reached the 30 mark. I'm just waiting to hear back from vandy to make sure.

Update the list. I think we are up to 27 now. I wish we could get some support from the TL guys. We should be able to hit 40!

^^^You'll still feel nice gains due to the fact that our cars run too rich from the factory. It will be worth it however in the future when u get headers...you'll be EXTREMELY IMPRESSED cause the headers will be working w/ the chip. The reason we are saying buy the chip now cause it's gonna save u like $200-$300 if u wait...and thats IF THEY STILL MAKE THEM!!! So go for it dude. You can buy headers anytime man...

My guess is that the stock ECU remains in place but the new Uni-Chip goes inline with the ECU, hense the reason for the harness. It is a "piggyback" unit not a completly new ECU. If I'm wrong then :noob: to me.

Okay, as promised. Here is the address where to send the deposit to:

15070 NW Centeral Dr. Apt. 507
Portland OR 97229

This is an apartment PO Box. Free.

Please have a bank issued check for $100 made out to Uni-Chip.

Brian,

I'd prefer them to pay someone within the forum like you who will then pass the money over to me... the idea is for me to work the tuning/hardware side while someone is working the GB issues within the forum.

There's no need to wait, what we'll do is to establish a cutoff date for participation... I'd recommend Friday 12 March just to pick a date. If someone wants to be in the GB, they must have all required information (name, address, e-mail, telephone number, car, and modifications) to you by that date.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers,
Jack

Toll free 1.866.643.7400

So please also provide me with all of the information needed from Jack. I will make the delivery on March 12th.

Let me know if there's any questions.

What about personal checks? They should have plenty of time to cash them.

Sure. I will just take longer to clear, but I don't mind. Since I won't be the one depositing them.

I was just trying to suggest something that will not bottle neck the process. I get Bank issued checks all the time. The do it for me for free.

You can count me in as a definite now. only thing is I'm working crazy hours for the next weeks and can't make it to a bank. So I'm going to send a personal check. Also is the address really Centeral Dr and not Central Dr?
