Hey so whats the price if we have 30 people or more, and how long after we order will we get these if we place the order? one more question do they need to be reprogamed if we dont have headers and then get them after the chip, do they need to be remapped or is it automatic? I'm getting very close joining the buy, (i'm so weak)

That's a good question we haven't got a definitive answer on when the final product will be finished..

The chip will be setup for your future mods and you won't have to have anything reprogrammed but the more mods the more you'll get out of them with the chip.

Jack has already stated that 30 people would be 15% discount, which I believe would make it around $675.

I wonder if it would be possible to get in on the group buy for the 6 speed chip to get the price but then just have to wait until we can get one up there or get it programed somewhere.

I'm in!!!!!!!!!! Talked to Jack he says the 6-speed chip is good to go!!!!!!!!! He says he just really wants to get a 6-speed on the dyno because he can get better HP#s out of a 6-speed. He said the harness will work just that some of the plugs for the auto won't be used. Good news!!! Some bad news though. He says since the 6-speed chip is basically the same map as the auto he won't do a free chip but he said he'll give someone a great deal on it if he can dyno their car. So the 6-speeders have been golden all along.

Can someone contact Jack and find out if we should include the 6-speeders in the GB and see if the numbers count or if they're just going to get it at the same price.. If we can include the 6 speeds we may hit 40..

I just talked to him. He said we are in no problem. I'm, so excited!!!!! We are in on the group buy and the same unit works on the 6 speed. I asked him several times to make sure but it can't hurt to confirm. Man he loves to talk about his product. Very cool guy IMO. He says we have been in all along. I told him that nobody thought the 6-speed was ready he said that was totally false and to get in on it. The map is the same. The auto just has a couple more plugs for the tranny control.

Lets not jump the gun on this. I know its awsome that 6-speed can use the chip. But lets give scalbert a chance to respond. If I remember correctly. He pointed out in the past that the pin configuration was not the same at all, and it would require a different plug for the 6-speed folks based on his experience with E-Manage. I could be completely wrong, but its better to be safe than sorry.

Just my 2 cents.

I know the ecu connectors on the 6 speed and the auto are NOT the same...however the unichip won't be using all 4 connectors on the ecu...just one. So that connector may be the same for 6 speeders considering all the sensors that have to be tapped into are the same. Not 100% sure but pretty much so.

Thats what I did. I just enclosed a separate piece of paper with my check listing the type of car, modifications, address, screen name, and phone #.

I'm way too busy at work at the moment would someone be able to PM all the people on the "In' list and let them know the PO Box?

And also I'd like for us to hit the 30 mark so if someone could PM the "Maybes" and find out their status..?
