Also, the 215/45's tread width is not much if any wider than the 215/50s I've looked at. So you are probably right. I'll do a little more checking just to be sure.
Right now my front runners are:
Falken Ziex ST-115
Toyo FZ4
Dunlop SP Sport 5000
Sumitomo HRT+
Pirelli P7000 Super Sport
All are between $100 and $125 a tire and beat the more expensive lower performance Michelin HX MXMs we have now.
Comments anyone?

The sticking points are that all the 45 series tire manaufactures list 7-8" rims. So I just want to make sure because of the way I drive. You can asked Mantis about my driving.

And for everybody who might run at the track the 28th, don't forget (especially you mantis ) you gotta wear
PANTS
If you want to drive, even though it's probably gonna be 90 degrees, you gotta be wearing pants.

They didn't check to see if I was wearing pants or not(except for the old fart at the entrance), so I probably could have gotten away with it. But bring some pants just in case.

Can anyone recommend a good custom stereo installation guy?
My contact has been giving me the shaft lately, and I can only put up with shit for so long.
I would do it myself, but I want a certain level of professionalism to it. Anyway, its a pretty basic install(replacing all speakers and adding subs). The box for the 12s would need to be built.
I'm keeping the fac HU for now cause I like it. Any recommendations?

Right now I've only talked to Hawk Electronics on Parker and Independence. You have to have faith when dealing with anyone these days.

David is in the process of choosing the components for his stereo, so he may know of a couple places. You can ask him in about a week. The only problem is all the places are around Arlington, not very close to you.
