Anybody here own that silver cl-s that was sitting dead with a front wheel off and a red flare behind it in the middle of Legacy
Drive in front of EDS on Monday evening?
I meant to stop but did not see anyone with the car.

you know i'm up for a meet always....... don't really care when it is, let's just plan for it and set an OFFICIAL date. There is that guy with the modified TL kit on a silver CL that lives around here. We HAVE to get him to come.

JacobZKing: I can't wait to see that engine. A buddy of mine is lookin at buying one now for $1500 but he just doesn't have enough. He just got the Erebuni Kit for his '95 240, so he has to hold off on the engine, but it's SOOOO pretty

well shiznit, that's a decent drive, but a darn good area to "have a little fun" with cars... maybe sometime this coming weekend we could hook up and I could see that beautiful SR20DET :wackit:. And if you don't mind, i'll bring along my amigo with his 240, cause i know he'd kill to see it in a car.

Mantis, I got this quote from another page
"You could pick up a zaino clay bar from Steve Pasztor in Allen, TX.

That's who I get my Zaino goodies from.
972-743-9443"
I didn't know you could get them around here, except through the web site. How does this guy work, does he charge more? I just want to know a little about the process with this guy before I call him. Thanks-

Hey Danny, he charges normal prices. Its all legit. He sells from his house. There is another shop out here that sells Zaino but I forget who does, Jeff & Duckblue knows who it is.

But Steve is a cool dude. Has a niiiice 1st gen Viper, I wish I could take it out for a spin. :P

If you want me to pick somethin' up for ya, let me know and I'll get it.

Mantis,
If you're gonna be picking up some more Zaino stuff, I'll take some, but I don't want you to make a special trip for me.

I'm a Zaino virgin so I guess I was gonna get a bottle of ZFX, Z2, and Z6. If I decide to claybar, I'll probably get one from AutoZone. Does that guy give free applicators for purchases over $25 like Sal, or are they extra?

Yeah, I need to pick up some Z2 and ZFX. I can pick up your goodies this week. Ohh, and he will hook you up with a free applicator. Umm, I'll be around Dallas this weekend, and we can play it by ear and see when I can get it to ya.

All in good fun, doodz...no harm intended. Come on over and rap or PW in the Sacramento thread anytime. Besides, we have to make sure that no other Club Events topics grow anywhere near the two of ours in size and hits

It was a great playoff series. You know Dallas will be back in force next year and stronger from the experience.

Thanks man! So is does my list sound good enough to get me going with Zaino: Z-2, Z-6, ZFX. Do you ever use Z-5? I didn't think I would need it since my car's still pretty new, and it's a light color.

I was also thinking about getting 2 bottles of Z-6, cause I heard you run out of this faster, is that true, or does something else run out faster?

Thanks a alot!

Z-5 is just car soap.. smells friggin good though. I like to use it. Up to you though. And yes, that should get you going. Your car is fairly new, so you can afford to skip the clay bar this go around.

The first thing I ran out of was z-2. I don't use z-6 all that much.

You're thinking of Z-7, at least according to the order form. I was talking about the "Z-5 Polish for swirl marks & fine scratches". But I figure that's more for the black and Agean Blue cars.

Err yeah, you know what I mean. :P
Haven't had any experience with z5 though.

Damnit! I swear I'm never gonna get my rims..

Subject: Status Update
To: Mantis <mantis@thefiresauce.com>

Aaron,
We spoke with Dazz yesterday to get a status update on the wheels. The manufacturer told Dazz today that the wheels were not a part of this coming shipment. They're coming on the next shipment which is about 30 days from now. The manufacturer is backordered on their entire line of BR5 wheels and are working to rectify the backlog. I apologize for the delay and Dazz assures us that they are working to get the wheels in to the US as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Jim

Cool...I guess if it's not a problem, pick me up 2 of each of these: Z2, Z6, and ZFX. One set of that stuff is for a friend of mine, we were going to order Zaino at the same time to save shipping. When I told him its available here he asked me to just double my order, cause he's never used Zaino before either. If that's too much let me know, I appreciate you pickin this stuff up for me.

Are you sure you'll have enough money for all this?

I got some extra money back from the IRS and I think it's time for my first mod (other than tinting) and of course it's gotta be an AEM CAI. I used the search trying to find the best price, but there were just too many pages to read them all. ACP sells it for ~ $213 + $46 for the bypass + shipping. Is there a better price anyone knows of? I tried Ebay, but only found 2 silver ones for about $180, and I really want red.

I haven't really looked, but I'd assume ACP has one of the lowest prices around, (not necessarily the lowest) But they have great service, and you can be assured you'll get your product.

I just finished watching Episode II. A friend of my brother's downloaded it for him. It's not bad . I'm still going to go see it Fri, and I know it will be much better then because of the quality and the huge screen of course.

The beginning's a little slow, but the Jedi/Clone vs. Droid battle at the end is cool, lots of action.

I'm not sure but I think Natilie Portman was nippin toward the end when she's alone with Anakin in the chrome ship. She's wearing a tight white shirt...look for it.

Sweet dude. Welcome to the board. Just chime into this thread from time to time. I'm sure we'll come up with a date/time pretty quick. Cause its almost that time again.

Mantis,
David loved your car, I believe his exact words were "that car was tight as hell" . He's trying to decide what springs to get to drop his GT, so he really notices that stuff.

Saweet! Once he gets that GT dropped, he'll be all good.

That's a damn nice color on that mustang.

Heh, I wonder when he wants to go to the track. He needs to do it before he puts those 18s on.

I'm sure he'll get to the track before he gets his new wheels. It's gonna be a while. He can't make up his mind on which wheel to get, he really wants chrome, but 18s will weigh too much, so he'll probably end up with 17s.
