As much as I want to, I don't feel I will have enough to cover a brand new set in 18", with tires, & a drop.

We will see, though....

Ill try in march thats my busy month lol. However the month after I might have time lol. Why dont you just get a full coilover? I was just curious. Megans are pretty cheap. One of the vendors on here quoted me 830 shipped a while back but I dunno if he still runs the deal.

I'm in the same boat.. a-spec susp will be the last/final mod for me...

Shopping around at the moment, but let me know what you find. I'm hoping to get them installed by early spring.

Any of you local guys have any experience with the neuspeed supercup kit? mixed reviews from what i've read. Not sure if i want to head that route just yet.. still leaning towards factory aspec.

i have the neuspeed supercup kit with sport springs. i love it! rides awesome and handles good. i need to take the suspension out again to lower the perch down since i wana go lower. get supercup kit not aspec kit. the aspec kit doesnt even lower it enough to notice its been lowered.

The kit will run $850 through hondacuraworld & $800 is about the most I want to spend for suspension. Being so, I could probably grab the A-Specs for $650 through eBay.

The only other thing I'm considering is buying another member's $300 Teins later on & just riding 4x4 status on enkeis.

I see. But as I have said before people say the manual A spec will give your car an even drop...They say approximately .75-1". But I do not know as thats what people have posted.

From what I've read MT aspec drop is just a hair under an inch, all around. As Rick_TLS stated, haven't found anything under $650.

There are a few sellers that have it for $50-$100 cheaper.. but seems sketchy.

The ones under $600, as I have found, are all automatics. However, I'm still trying to find out how you can even tell the difference just looking at the parts.

Part number?

I noticed together, Tim's price for a kit is $800. But looking here, it seems I could get the kit for $763.50.

Actually the Koni supercup kit is in your 600 dollar price range if you do want to go that route. Cheap and it could be equal if not better than the A spec kit. Just sayin if you want a suspension that is a good deal and reliable. A lot of people run that setup and it runs pretty flawless.

Hey Nail,
a performance driving session is awesome, and you learn so much about the limitations of your car and yourself as a driver. It is money very well spent. MSR is an awesome track too. I've done a few HPDE's with The Driver's Edge and it is seriously the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
To all of you, for $95 that is a steal! Especially with classroom instruction! Driver's Edge events are $295 for an entire weekend.

I am in to either a session like this or one of the group sessions mentioned.
Chops-LMK if the S2K peeps are doing it this Spring again with either TDE or Apex.

Hey man, did you order your set yet? I'm looking for part numbers as well. I have an 2006 A/T (non type S) and i want M/T Aspecs suspension (non type S)

I've searcged through a number of threads and they all have conflicting information on part numbers. Not sure who/what is right.

I'm looking for a definitive answer on part numbers before i place an order.

Not yet. Thinking about sending an e-mail to a parts guy at McDavid if he can look up & send me the numbers.

That or just make a new thread in the 3GTL section. Can't order anything though until I get my W2.

ok but I have 1 question about it. If at any point I want to go back to stock, how much work would it be to swap the stock parts back in.

Yep. Thinkin about pulling apart the engine nfor a rebuild lol but then I do not have the funds right now but yea lol we will see. Gonna port match the manifold whenever I get the time in the kitchen. Need to take care of some other stuff first =D. I feel like my engine is underperforming a little might also perform a compression or cylinder leakdown test on the motor to make sure its running right. Also going to do the third cat delete whenever I get the chance.

Anyone know if we are going to have a Cars and Coffee meet next Saturday? I know starting March the meets will be the 1st Saturday of the month rather than the last Saturday. With that said...there will be back to back Cars and Coffee meets at the end of February and beginning of March...

just my opinion, but that its alot of work for such minimal gain.

how does it feel like its underperforming?

It just feels like it hesitates...but then that could be the clutch also in a way. Another possibility could be engine temps are rising in the engine bay causing the engine to pull back timing which seems to be a big problem in these vehicles making the vehicle feel like it is running sluggish. But anyway I might do a compression test this weekend or something. Its easier and I do not think any issues are with the engine. It could just be as easy as the computer mapping pulling back some timing. But the port match I am just gonna have fun with the dremel after I measure out some stuff. My 3-4 slip is always there now during WOT which is pissing me off so I need to do the delete on the slave cylinder. It would be nice to have a machine but I can strip down the manifold and do it on my own time.
