Had like 3 inches I had to remove from my windshield this morning. But unlike last time when it snowed this is thick powdery snow, no icy mix, so actually the try to work wasn't bad at all. And it is supposed to snow ALL day!

But I bet that will make for a bad commute tomorrow morning since we will have freezing temps tonight, but then again I won't be going to work tomorrow anyways

Made the trek to work today. The TL does brilliant.

Shame about all the people calling in, as tomorrow morning is where the real fun is.

I tried running around to the park to take pics but the snow came down on me and everything started to get wet lol so I started walking back. I left the car outside though...Moved it forward a little since our tree looked like it was about to tilt and break lol.

Goddam I couldn't even get up my driveway after work. Got stuck but luckily my neighbors were out because one of them got stuck too lol so they gave me a push and I just parked on the side of the road.

The drive home from work was no problem at all, but my street, and imagine all small side streets, are horrible... packed with snow/slush and slick.

I've only had the new Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 for a few days and have just over 100 miles on them and I'm liking them . . . so far.

They felt very solid on dry pavement . . gripped nicely. Handled the weird grooves on I635 between Mesquite and Richardson. In the rain they were equally sound. The surprise was how well they handled all the snow. I couldn't get our 4Runner up our driveway without some pushing. My son took the TL and got up the driveway without any problems.

Now let's see how well they hold up in the wear department.

You guys have fun Saturday. I'll be at a high school varsity soccer game. My oldest is on the varsity and they are 11-0, and have been ranked #2 in the nation for 9 weeks now. The next 2 games are tough ones with one of them verses the #1 team in the nation. Go Wildcats!
