Hey guys, according to the grapevine, C&C will resume in January & Feb. on the last Saturdays of both months, but in March, they will start on the first Saturdays of the month.
So, yes, that will be 2 meets in a row early next year.

Yes! Btw you and Nelson need to upload pics. And you guys won't believe this story, but tonight, I went to BJ's Brewhouse (my dad really likes it since our meet there) and Emmit Smith was there for his niece's bday. Anyways I got to meet him and we talked for a good 5 to 10 minutes.

Back on C and C, the BMW site says there is one every month, so I think there will be one from January to April. Rick, give me the link to where you read this.

Well . . I wimped out as well. Figured that a lot of the high $$$ cars wouldn't want to get out in all the mess.
As for the snow, it started about 2pm and kept coming down until around 7ish. About 1 1/2" or so . . it was pretty while it lasted.![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
On a side note, looks like I'll be ordering some new axles . . . got it up on a rack and you could see the tires start to wobble slightly as the speed increased.
NaIL05, since I'll need to pull the axles would you recommend pulling the tranny to replace the rear main seal at the same time?

As for the tranny, it may be fine . . . for now. The primary problems are with the axles and the motor mounts. While checking the axles I noticed that there was a bit more motor movement than there should be. And last week I thought I noticed some wheel hop and yep . . . they are wearing out. I hope the new mounts under works come out soon . . and that they hold up.

1. Mark if you are up to the task go for it. How bad is the rear main leaking? I am surprised they didnt repair that when they pulled your trans in the first place.
2. Thats good its only an axle issue saves you time.
3. You can either a) fill the mounts. b) buy poly mounts. I have been eyeing the 75A for my car.
4. The wed night meet was fun...some people got sideways...Jeff...And the Plano PD came in but they came in around like midnight to get people to scatter a bit. Then Jeff made me realize how slow my car was again...I went WOT 1-2-3 and he just fucked around with me and stayed on me the whole time without trying....FML.
5. Waffle house was good.

Rear main is leaking pretty bad. And yes, I ask David McDavid Acura Plano the same thing. Their answer was that it was one of their top mechanics and he always checks and recommends replacing the seal if it's leaking the slightest. Funny how it started leaking immediately after they had it. On top of it, they screwed up . . forgetting to replace the radiator cap. The same top notch mechanic . . then they tried to blame it on me. Then they took it back and tried to fix it . . I say tried as they screwed up again. It took the direct of service to get on them and fix it right. Unfortunately not long ago I had to replace a radiator hose . . blown because it was weakened by their blunder back then that resulted in my car overheating twice. They defended their 'top notch' screw up and pinned the blame on the customer and its mods. All I can say is I'll never take my car there, recommend them or buy another car from them.
As for the axles, I found some good deals on ebay, new 2010 EMPI axles. I'm wondering if I should replace the wheel hubs while I'm at it since they come with wheel bearings. Thoughts.
Regarding the poly fill approach, while it's an option the long term results are not any better . . not to mention that the idle is rougher . . and not up for that. Anyway, XLR8 is working on an aftermarker performance mount. He'll be sending me the pre-production mounts as soon as he gets them.

I see that RUF. That sucks sorry to hear that. But what I can tell you is replace it whenever you get the chance. The only thing I see with aftermarket axles especially performance ones sometimes the spline itself is bigger but if it fits good. Honestly i wouldnt touch your wheel bearing if its still good. Those don't go out too often and its not a fun change.
