I heard about www.scottwax.com from the detailing forum here. A couple people recommeded him and also he is like a super moderator on some special detailing website/forum and is well respected. I haven't used him before but apparently he is great.

I know this is going to sound crazy but I saw a 4G TL last week.

Black, Painted grill, some sick ass wheels....I liked it.

I think the 4g's can look good with a certain color and proper wheel/drop. I saw a tech packaged out black on black 4g, factory lip kit, and the factory wheels it looked good...needed a drop though and it would have been a decent vehicle. I do think it still needs a redesign some parts just dont look right.

Also to answer cars and coffee is at Classic BMW in Plano.

From what I've seen, black is about the only color I can stand on the 4G. Seems to do a good job masking some of the ugly lines.

4g TL is last on my list. I'f rather drive any pick-up, any hatchback, anything else. That car is atrocious.

Have any of ya'll driven one? It is nothing like the 3g..its how i like my women, loose and sloppy......wait a minute. No, I said that right.

Yea I kinda figured. Anyway might be hitting up the track again this sunday. We will see how my clutch fares. Hopefully not too bad if I let it cool down a bit. We are planning to check out Dallas raceway. So far we have a Turbp GS, 2 Turbo IS's, and just me the slow one haha. Anyway might make a meet out of this one if I can fetch more people.

Sorry guys . . . I was down in Austin for a soccer tournament with my oldest son. It was a good tournament, but the traffic sucked big time . . . both ways. It was 5 1/2 hrs down and 4 1/2 hrs back . . . it was like rush hour traffic all the way. On the way down we averaged right at 40mph.

Anyway, did get to catch up with G and got to see his latest new toy. It was a black Jeep SRT. It's stock right now, but he's planning on a few mods . . . we did a couple of runs as I wanted to see how I'd keep up with him . . and . . well to both our surprise it was neck and neck . .

I also ran into a M5 and had a quick run with him . . . and once again the TLS is proving to be quick the surprise. He barely got 1 car length on me and once we got to 50mph it he didn't pull me until we let up just over 100mph. It would have been interesting to see how we'd do in a clean environment. I had 2 people and luggage in the car . . plus it's not running 100% right now . . . I hope I can get the bugs worked out so I can get to the track this month.

E39 M5 I assume? The V10 M5 on the other hand can eat cars alive on highway lol. I witnessed that first hand just for the hell of it haha.

Nice Jeep SRT8's are nice I like them. They can be some gnarly machines when you add power to them. Saw a few run at TMS and damn they get off the line quick if you stall them up.

Anyway I will be out at Wednesday night meet tonight or should be haha. I am bored as hell and as for this Sunday I will see if we can get some ziners to go to Dallas Raceway to have some fun. I feel like sealing the deal to my clutch I guess if that happens I will just drive my dads sc buick around lol.

^^^Ruf...you crack me up!

My wife got pulled over on I-30 Monday. She was doing 74 in a 60 and had a partially used HUGE bottle of tequila sitting next to her. She had NOT been drinking but was hung over from the night before. The Mesquite cop saw her Rowlett police employee badge and asked her a couple questions and let her drive away. DANG!!! I so wanted to rub it in if she got a speeding ticket after taking a picture of me be pulled over going to Denver. See below...

yeah . . you'd think at my age I'd 'grow up' . . . but I guess not.

As for the misses, it's those ironies that keep my misses from giving me too much grief . . . it take one on her part and I get a few free passes.

I've ordered new front balls joint for my step-son's 98 CL. I plan to replace them myself. I'll rent a ball joint press from Autozone and have researched on this forum.

Anyone have experience in this area and want to help? I'll do the work but its always good to have someone there for questions and guidance.

. . . well . . . depends on when you are doing this . . . I'm pretty busy this weekend . . . it's me B-day Saturday . . and next weekend we have in-law plans . . . so depending on when I'm interested as I'll likely need to do mine some time in the near future.

. . . well . . . call me a wuss . . . but I'm not really up to getting out in the rain . . . I can't believe all this . . . we've had 5" so far . . . I think some gills are starting to emerge.

BTW - I've lost my lower air intake tube . . can't imagine how that happened . . . I don't remember anything falling off while driving or running over anything . . . crap . . . just what I did't need . . . got to get that fixed before going to the track.

THat sucks =(. Hey RUF is your bottom half of the intake tube aluminum? If it is I think my friend might be able to weld it as one piece so next time it falls off you will know lol. Have you checked underneath to see if it fell off or someone decided to take it?

They said ICF only had around 30 cars show up & that it was wet/muddy. But, they confirmed there will be a 2010 show.
