In Search Of Sunrise....
^^^ Nice!! I've seen Tiesto and Van Buuren a few times back when I was up north. Both are magic and they put on a hell of a show!! I'm definitely going to try and catch one them! Thanks again for the info!

I'm afraid to say I'm being tempted by the dark side. After looking through them, I've come to really like the Genesis Coupe...and I want one.
#1889
I can't decide which is best. Both engines are producing huge numbers from aftermarket! I've heard 1 company has gotten 460 out of the 4-banger.

Oh yea of course. I think you can modify some SR20 parts to fit on the car haha. Thats the funny part. Either way I like the coupe its not a bad car for the price.
#1891
Well, the Genesis Coupe is kind of like the car Nissan should have built to begin with after the 240SX/Silvia/etc.

Three Wheelin'
Yea they shoulda too bad they stopped the 240 in the us but continued the silvia and got rid of the lineup. So whos going to C/C and cupcake meet next saturday? If we go to cupcake meet I can reserve a spot there for the TL people to park. Just let me know.

Very well done and I've run that track playing Forza Motorsports on the Xbox 360.

I posted about it earlier and I was enjoying the video of the car. It's definitely worth investigating.

Right now though, can't get Rockwall Hyundai to respond back to me on what they have available.

I'm game.

I only reserved 4 or 5 spots. Prob not a big TL turnout by the looks of it. I think I know of 1 thats coming along with me so there will still be 2 more open spaces if rick comes. Should be an interesting meet with a guesstimation of about 500 cars or so.

The first thing I need to do is fix the exhaust leak so I can rule out a possible CAT problem. I need to take it to my brother and have him weld it up. Once that's maybe I can have you check it out.

Interesting. Depends on where the exhaust leak is that can be an issue. Fix that and see what happens. Exhaust leaks can tamper with newer electronics not such a fun thing.

AEM Oxygen Sensor
Universal - Fits all vehicles -- AEM BOSCH WIDEBAND UEGO REPLACEMENT SENSOR, 5-WIRE -- 0-5 V, thread-in mounting style, low current draw; Wiring harness included; Measures from 11:1 AFR to atmospheric air and a response time of less than 100 milliseconds; Features an integrated heater element that warms up in less than 20 seconds, PTFE insulators that withstand temperatures up to 1400 degrees Fahrenheit and the latest Nernst cell or oxygen pump hybrid technology and planar configured zirconium dioxide sensor; Has much more accurate AFR readings than OEM sensors; With AEM's limited 1-year.
The 'more accurate AFR readings' caught my eye.

Anybody going to Cars and Coffee this Saturday? Despite the long ass drive for me, I might actually make the trip this month after seeing Nail's pics from the last meet. I'd love to see a bunch of those cars up close and meet up with yall.

I have more info on the problems I'm having. Took it to Autozone to do a free ODB scan and it came back with the following code 'P0420'.
- catalyst system efficiency below threshold bank 1 : possible cause(s)\
1) faulty catalytic converter
2) A/F mixture problem (too rich or lean)
3) air leak near heated Ho2S (heated o2 sensor)
4) ignition system failure (1 or more miss fires)
Okay, I was sort of suspecting some of this and will need to resolve any possible issues with #3, which could be as a result of the flex pipe exhaust leak. Once that is done and the problem still exists I'll need to put it on a scope to see what's going on . . . fun fun . .

I will be at the meet. RUF if you know where the exhaust leak is fix it. If those codes come back up my best guess would be the o2 sensor itself starting to go on its way out. I would recommend getting an OEM one if that does happen. As for the AEM UEGO its nice but its more for tuning. The problem with leaving WB o2's in the exhaust stream is that they deteriorate a lot faster than your normal o2 sensor so you will be spending about 60 bucks to replace the sensor everytime from autozone or oreillys (they stock the AEM wideband o2;s its a universal unit). But if you want to read more accurate go for it. Its a nice unit. You will need to weld another o2 bung in your exhaust system to mount the aem.
