Nail, think we'll get another person taking a picture of our cars, and then drive off like last month?

If you haven't made it to Cars & Coffee, here is a video from August. It was the same this month (minus a couple spin outs).

You see my car at 1:56 into the video.

They hold it early, I believe, so people can have time to do other things later on. Earlier in the summer though, I think the meet started early as 6:30 or 7 once. But to be honest, I loved it when it was that early. Wasn't a lot of people, and the lighting of dawn was perfect.

I'm guessing 8am because it isn't as hot at that time and because people drink coffee in the morning .

Saw some awesome cars out there today. Too bad the cops were watching because I would have liked to see someone spin out like in the video lol. I wish the F50, Veyron, and Saleen S7 were there so I coulda seen them (maybe they were there but not while I was there).

The Veyron hasn't returned since, & I think the S7 has only been there twice, last time being with the F50 the previous month. If I recall, correctly, though.

That Rossion Q1 though, was badass.

The dude with the S7 doesnt get on it and he usually goes the other way...The car sounds good though when it just idles past you.

Today seemed kinda unorganized but I dunno. It was fun though. They do it in the morning because who drinks coffee in the afternoon lol. And its been tradition at Coppers Cove or something like that to do it in the morning. Theres is earlier than ours too 7-10 or something like that.

Yea that Rossion was beautiful. (Actually I never looked at the badge and guessed it was a Noble so I was kinda close).

Also noticed all the TL's were parked scattered around.

Yes it was. So you live in Rockwall, did I hear that right? Your car sounded great coming back. We almost got that Crossfire in a good run but he turned off there at Castle Rock. My car seems to draw them out of the wood work when they hear me coming/going.

I met up with a black TL this evening in Rowlett. He was coming out of the car wash on 66 and did a u-turn when he saw my car. Then he heard the exhaust and was digging it. He wanted to know how I did it. Told him to get on AZ so I'm not sure if he is out there reading this thread or not.

Yeah, live just before the 66 bridge into Rockwall.

Ha, I was wondering where that Crossfire went. That Nissan pickup looked like he trying to drive just as fast.
And that exhaust on yours sounds badass. I thought it was Comptech, but your sig says Magnaflow custom. Still nice.

Finally becoming a productive member of society

GOT A JOB

I will be the VP of Consumer Product Strategy/Analysis for Bank of America (only waiting on the criminal background to pass--thank gawd the speeding tickets are all deferred ajudication). Based in FW at 820 and 35W.

Hopefully with some income I can again rejoin the ranks of the the AZ group in DFW.

Holing up and conserving principal for the past 6 months has sucked.

Sorry to threadjack just wanted to share and rejoin the group.

Was not very impressed with the Cupcake meet, honestly. But, C&C delivered again, and with that, I threw a quick preview vid together.

I'll get my shots up soon.

Hey silver bullet and nail, I saw a few pages back that you guys have been to dallas frame and alignment. I need to get an alignment on my car asap. I also have heard good things from them. Just wondering, about how much did the alignment cost? I'm thinking of going either there or just at the dealer since I need something else done to the car as well. Also, I hear they are first come, first serve. Did you have to wait long? I was thinking of just going in the morning hopefully if I get there right before they open I won't have to wait.

Also, I have heard of Firestone's lifetime alignment thing but have heard quite a few reviews of their shitty customer service after a 3+ hour wait and the fact that a lot of people say their alignments have been fked up and need to go back 2 or 3 times to get it right; I'd rather not deal with that shit.

My friend had Firestone. They kept on fucking him over and leaving him pretty much last on the list. And if your vehicle is lowered...they prefer not to mess with it. If you want a good alignment done right there is Brandon in Grapevine who works at the newer NTB (In ground machine for extremely lowered cars) or you can go to Dallas Frame and Alignment. I have had plenty of friends go there and they have not had any issues. Personally I have not been there I just know people that have given that place good reviews. Sorry about the misunderstanding IMJ. However Silver can comment on that.

Well...Had a great night tonight...Bent two rims entering tollway (didnt see the curb)...Possibly bent the front passenger side suspension a bit so gonna strip that down and check it. But overall...such a great night it sucked. Oh well good news new rim time I guess...Never liked the rims on my car but I was hoping to sell them to boost the fundage. Now they are just garbage. Scrap yard time! However I do have two 235/35/19 tires for sale now =P.

Yea pretty much. I am looking for some stockers for now so I can check the alignment on my car. I want to see if it bent anything before I spend money on new wheels. I dont have anything at home that will clear the brakes at my house.

This is why I love AZine. We scratch/break a rim, we don't worry about a replacement, we just say, "Fuck it. Time for new rims anyways".

I recommend Dallas Frame and Alignment...cost me about $350 but I had a rear camber kit installed too. I think it will cost you around $200. Not cheap but I can say they are excellent.

LOL. well if anyone has stock rims they want to get rid of I just need something to temporarily roll on lol. The new rims will come after I find out of anything is bent or my alignment got whacked lol...I always wanted to get rid of this set just not in this way lol. Oh well RPF1's in SBC if I can find them for a good price. Prob 18x9 +30 if they make that size...If not 18x8.

Haha yea just let me know whats up man. Really need to see if the suspension is out of whack. I know it is but I want to know where...I have a feeling either a tie rod went...Worst case scenario lower or upper control arm got damaged but those are usually structurally strong...Another thing it could be is the steering rack so yea thats gonna be fun.

That sounds good trancemission since I do plan on getting rid of the wheels after I get everything aligned so borrowing them would be even better. I just need to borrow to see what is bent right now on my wheels. So I can replace it and get it aligned. I really just need a set of OEM rims just for testing purposes not permanently. If thats ok with you that would be perfect for me. Just let me know.

Thanks again guys.
