Ethan, had the Autoscope detail today.

When I dropped it off in the morning I met with Carson and he was a very nice dude. I told him I recently got it back from PDR and showed a couple of the pen marks the guy used to outline the dents that I wasn't able to wash away and he said it'd be no problem with those.

When I picked up my car I met with Carson again and he handed me the keys and I wanted to give him a tip for the work but he wouldn't accept it. I was like at least give it to whomever worked on the car and he still was firm on his stance and wouldn't take my money. He is one awesome dude.

I went out to look at it and I was blown away. Every single one of the pen marks was gone, the shit was shining so much I was partially blinded for half a minute. The interior was amazingly clean as well.

After comparing this to Hi-Def detail which I got about a year ago I must say this beats the hell outta it. You definitely should get your Lotus done here when you decide to do it.

Oh and I am no Rick, but here are some attempted good pics of it, I tried my best with the camera... https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...7#post13180897

"I am no Rick...."

Lol, you & E give me way too much credit. The car looks amazing though, like showroom condition from the pics.

I've used this place called Wheel Repair Solutions two times for my asanti's, but they were bent on the inner wheel both times. number is 972-242-6700 and address is 1441 Patton Place #167, Carrollton, Tx. It may take longer and cost more if you have chrome. I think they are worth a call or stop by for a quote.

I had my aspec rims reconditioned at the same place Nail described, wheel technologies. I just took them up to the McDavid Body Shop and they handled having them picked up and returned. ~$150 a rim. I had mine done a couple years ago and they are still in great shape. They also repainted them to the color i requested. or you can have them match the original color.

Ok, so since the other leaders are already interested in planning the Big Ass Texas meet, I want to try & see what weekend everyone is open/would like it to be. So far, it looks like the first weekend of December works for us, but that may not necessarily work for you guys.

The problem with december is travel and final exams for people. I would go along with end of november or beginning of october.

Yea December might be cutting it a little too close. End of November would work better, beginning of November would be the best imo.

I'll propose a mid-late November time, then.

Just had my 4 wheel alignment at Goodson Acura for $59.95. I have to say, excellent fucking service. Got a complimentary car wash, and found $7 in my cup holder.

Probably not. Even with being able to park in the VIP/Forum members section to bypass the stupid $1/person "donation", it's just a boring ass meet.

Went and picked up my car today. I ended up having Elite Auto Werks do the work and since Tim (owner) is a good friend he said they would first try to pop it back in place, if it didn't work he wouldn't charge me and get the new bumper. Turns out they could pop it back and it looks really good. I am happy with it, and it is barely noticeable. It was worth paying half the price. The only problem is they didn't put the brackets for the a-spec lip back on. He said he would have them look for it, but I'm guessing I won't get it back. Anyone know where I can get just the hardware for the rear a-spec lip? Stealership?
