theretrofitsource.com sells some double-sided epoxy for the reseal that does an excellent job. Shoot me a pm if you decide to give it a go. I'm planning on doing some retrofitting in the headlights of my car soon, and you are more than welcome to sit and watch...or help.

Seriously, you'll laugh at how easy it is!
Does the reseal process work the same on the 3g taillights?

Can someone tell me everything I need for a the 100k mile tune up? Like every single thing I need, I'm about to order all that shit. I already got side tracked and ordered a stock diameter underdrive pulley and rv-6 strut bar.

I cleared my headlights myself and did another TL's. It was a learning process and my headlights reflect that. Definitely not something I want to do again...very nerve racking imo.

Timing Belt/Water pump (I know this is 105k but this is due by age anyway), Plugs, oil change obviously, id change trans fluid if you havent...autos id go with a 30k interval. brake flush, cabin/air filters and thats all i can think of...but whoever has a manual can give you a better answer.

Cabin filter and plugs were changed 10k and 12k ago, so those are probably good. Oil was changed at the end of last month so that is good. I ordered trans fluid already, and a driving belt (same as timing belt?). I need to get some brake fluid then, and i still need to order a water pump. Any seals or gaskets?

Not the same. Drive/serpentine/ac belt is the belt you can to the left when standing directly in front of the engine. The timing belt is on that same side but it is covered.

I would advise against the heat gun because direct heat in one spot can cause melting and it would be too much work to keep all sections heated during re assembly. Here is a pic of how mine turned out. Only 1 minor imperfection, the strip that runs in front the diffuser had a little paint scratch as a result of me clamping the end of the light too tight. Otherwise it's perfect and no leaks .

Timing belt=Drive belt, also get the tensioner to replace.

Big 3 are water pump, belt and tensioner.
Coolant, ATF, brakes, cabin filter, and plugs are all up to you and how often they were done before-more regular maintenance than major interval stuff.

If you have pulled the valve cover a number of times to clean the EGR ports and do the valves, you may want to get a valve cover gasket for the next time you have it off.

When I meant drive belt I meant serpentine belt. Thats what I always call them. The timing belt is just a timing belt sorry about the confusion.

Acktl05 does headlights as well as tail lights. His prices are descent and he does good work. I still went with a window sealant all around the edges to make sure there were no leaks.(never can be too careful) I have had my headlights for about a year with no leaks/ rainforest affect.

Has anyone done stage 1,2, or 3 exhaust mod? If so, how does it sound and what would you recommend? I am leaning toward stage 3, But I really don't want it to sound ricey.

don't remember exactly what the difference in stage 1,2,3 is but I've replaced my j pipe, 3rd cat delete, remove resonator & mid muffler, 2.5" exhaust pipe from j-pipe back (no cat with 3rd cat delete), replaced rear mufflers with magnaflows. See my garage by clicking on the link in my sig below.

i'd say it sounds pretty f'ing good. there are a few others on here that know my car and would have some feedback. i think the general consensus is positive.

I know the difference between all and have found sound clips of all. I was just wanting personal opinions on the sound of each if anyone has any.

3 might be a little raspy until you get on it. Just my opinion down low its a bit on the raspy side for me. Nothing a little resonator cant fix.

The full mid muffler and resonator delete is stage 4. I think I am going with stage 3, which is mid muffler delete with a dynomax resonator.

Just bought full type s cat back and going to try and put it in over the weekend!
