Should be fine on the rack.
If done it 3 times...twice on the CL, once on the MX5. Its really not hard at all. In fact, you'll probably need to re-insert them in a few times to get all of the glue to release.
theretrofitsource.com sells some double-sided epoxy for the reseal that does an excellent job. Shoot me a pm if you decide to give it a go. I'm planning on doing some retrofitting in the headlights of my car soon, and you are more than welcome to sit and watch...or help.
Seriously, you'll laugh at how easy it is!

Can someone tell me everything I need for a the 100k mile tune up? Like every single thing I need, I'm about to order all that shit. I already got side tracked and ordered a stock diameter underdrive pulley and rv-6 strut bar.

I cleared my headlights myself and did another TL's. It was a learning process and my headlights reflect that. Definitely not something I want to do again...very nerve racking imo.

Timing Belt/Water pump (I know this is 105k but this is due by age anyway), Plugs, oil change obviously, id change trans fluid if you havent...autos id go with a 30k interval. brake flush, cabin/air filters and thats all i can think of...but whoever has a manual can give you a better answer.

Cabin filter and plugs were changed 10k and 12k ago, so those are probably good. Oil was changed at the end of last month so that is good. I ordered trans fluid already, and a driving belt (same as timing belt?). I need to get some brake fluid then, and i still need to order a water pump. Any seals or gaskets?

The CL is up for sale, if anyone from TX is really interested in it please say so now lol. I'm leaving it in SoCal (corona) for the time being since I have a better chance selling it there since the scene is greater.
I leave back to TX this Friday! Woot! Should be there by Sunday in time for the game.

Big 3 are water pump, belt and tensioner.
Coolant, ATF, brakes, cabin filter, and plugs are all up to you and how often they were done before-more regular maintenance than major interval stuff.
If you have pulled the valve cover a number of times to clean the EGR ports and do the valves, you may want to get a valve cover gasket for the next time you have it off.

Acktl05 does headlights as well as tail lights. His prices are descent and he does good work. I still went with a window sealant all around the edges to make sure there were no leaks.(never can be too careful) I have had my headlights for about a year with no leaks/ rainforest affect.

i'd say it sounds pretty f'ing good. there are a few others on here that know my car and would have some feedback. i think the general consensus is positive.

-plan to build the first awd 1st gen CL
-going to use the money to pay for new furniture for the apartment
-planning to wait about 2yrs (or untill the parts are reasonably priced) till more ZDX's are totaled.
-but in all honesty, if it doesnt sell by Dec I'm just going to ship it here and tweak it some more.
