aww suxx.
maybe a wet sand can get rid of the trash and orange peel.

I dont have any experience with wet sanding
the only defects I can take out with my polisher is slight scratches and swirls.
orange peel and debris will have to be wet sanded out .

Took my cheap radar detector (the suction cups on the windshield are what must have tempted them to break in even though the detector itself wasn't mounted because I had the sunshade up) and took my car manual/acura booklet

They did indeed leave my change and my Oakleys.

This is what would bother me the most about the situation, having to deal with insurance bs and taking the time to get it fixed.

I'm thinking about buying the Viper alarm stickers and putting them on my front windows. Only thing is that they'll look kind crappy.

They were more than likely looking for your valet key. I can't for the life of me understand why some dealers do this. I do remember finding a valet key in our glovebox. Those assholes will wait until the owner gets the window fixed and come back for the car...

That kind of technology is too expensive and too complicated for your basic chop-shop crew, but they usually don’t need it anyway. For the past few years, Bay Area cops have pursued a ring of thieves that break into Hondas and Acuras with “jiggle” keys – keys with the teeth shaved down so they can turn the tumblers inside any car’s door lock. After the thieves gain access, they shuffle through the glove compartment and snatch the manual, where dealers – unbeknownst to many car owners – often leave an extra valet key.

Oh MAN! That sucks for all of y'all....
Even though I can't afford it, it kinda makes me think twice about getting new paint! My mechanical issues have to come first.

Yeah Jessica, I even took it to my dealerships body shop "Sewell Collision Center" and they still suck! The paint looks ok but they still half ass things. Guess you cant get anything done right unless you do it yourself!

My buddy mike told me $250 labor... I don't know how good that is as I haven't done one yet. He said make sure you have a new ACURA water pump if you don't want it to leak plus a timing belt and both engine belts... I think it only has one tho...

How about the weekend of June 1st? Someones house would be cool if they have the space and don't mind.
