Yeah, I guess they don't need the money as much as Goodson does. It's ok.. It's worth a trip to Irving to get an alignment for $60 rather than $100. The deals from Goodson look pretty stellar.

Is there a reason why the DFW Forum isn't a sticky? Seems like it has way more views and posts than the other cities.. Just curious...

I'm not sure I see the point in it, but if enough of you want to, Ethan or I can do it.

Met Danny & Abel tonight. Apparently, a white 3G was there with gold wheels with some spacers on it. Also caught 2 chicas driving a 3G as well.

But, after meeting with them tonight, I think it's about time we got a GTG out here. They didn't seem to really want to do the go-karts, so maybe meet somewhere down on the lake when it gets cooler. Thinking maybe a dinner meet at The Harbor so we can get the Rowlett/Garland guys introduced to the rest of ya'll.

Goodson Acura Review. I was very pleased and impressed with their service today. I took my car in for their alignment special and they were quick to assist and get me out. Not only did I only pay $60 but they took the time to also wash my car. I didn't ask and I really didn't expect it since I just got their alignment for close to 40% off regular price. I would recommend going to them anytime. And if you need Timing Belt Service this is really the time to get it done. $600 is a steal.

Major Congrats!!!

So what did you major in . . besides racing 101. And thanks for the video looked like a fairly close race . . I imagine your Cobalt guys were wondering what a 4dr sedan was doing there.

I'm taking #1 son off to college this weekend. Maybe I'll have a bit more time to do a few things now and then.

Welcome.

What part of town did you see the 3rd gen?

Most folks around here are from North Dallas up to Frisco, west to Keller and don't know how far east or south.

Rick or E$ Kick my @$$ if this is the wrong place for this.
Eibach Pro damper struts for 2nd gen BNIB.
Got them about 6 mos ago as I thought the Koni's (thanks again Blake) were having a problem.
Turns out they are fine.
If anyone needs some nice shocks, lmk
350 new, say $250 if you need some new shocks.
Trust me when I tell you it is worth eating the 100 to have the wife not giving me grief on getting them out of the garage.
PM me or email peter.phoenix at bankofamerica dot com

Thanks Rick.

And as to a meet, as soon as it gets to be a reasonable temp outside, let's discuss.

Why am I not surprised you live in north Dallas

Most Sundays Dallas peeps meet up at some Starbucks in Dallas. The past couple weekends some of us have met up at The Londoner in Addison, good times.

Hot Summer Nights show followed by drinks sounds like a plan.

I'll have to thank Shalin again as well for getting me hooked on that cider. Finally found a nearby place that sales it.

Glad to hear they are doing good! Must have a ton of miles on em now, but hey, Koni's last a loooong time. I'm pretty much booked up for the next few weekends (Best friend is getting married and i'm in the wedding), but def let me know when you host another meet, or hey, we can hit up the track again sometime like the old days.

No prob, if you want a hard copy of it lmk. Wish my camera girl had been more prepared...told her to film your runs and she barely caught 1 hah. My major was Human Relations, going into the inside sales business soon with a pretty big distribution company. Yeah a lot of us were pretty shocked at the big sedan, but hey, cobalts aren't the best drag cars (we prefer ricer roll racing ) Very disappointed at the fact that I was the only SC cobalt in the 13s, and i'm not even that heavily modded.
Where's your son going to attend? Just let me know when you want to meet up or have another track day

I think we might be heading to the Londoner later on(or that's what Ethan suggested to me other day), if you can swing by.

Not sure what the plan is for after dinner. Depends on what the b-day boy wants to do. I will try to stop by.

I need my timing belt done right now, just made a call to McDavid about it today. What do I need to do to get it done for $600?

What price did McDavid tell you? I called Goodson about a month ago and they said they do it for $875.

One of the vendors here, wholesalepartsguy, has the parts kit for the timing belt service for $300. I also asked Goodson what the labor is and they said $700. So obviously it would be cheaper to do everything through the dealer. But I'd also like to know if this $600 is for real...
