@ trolling...

man you guys get butt hurt very quick....if you felt this version of iphone was very exciting (except the publicity) then i honestly pity you....you definitely need to wake the fuck up....

all companies have a 21 day trial period....go out there, get an S4/N4/1x...give it an honest attempt and then come back to say I was trolling....most of you have never used an Android device....just played it with in the store and went "ewww" like a little school girl....try it out, if you feel the iphone 5c/5s is more advanced, fuck, I will give you 100 bucks to get that plastic phone....

MOST of the people who have tried and given the Android phones an honest attempt have not gone back to the iphone....

I was looking forward to this event, but as the previous 2-3 events, am disappointed....

disappointed? The speed increases alone are huge. The additional motion chip is a big deal.

The touch sensor that can read sub -dermal at 360 degrees and not only secure your phone but allow you to make purchases without a password...if thats not innovative then you really dont understand the what the word means.

the camera sensor is 15% larger...that is actually a big deal...megapixels mean nothing in the end if the sensor isn't up to par...the fact they were able ti increase the sensor size based on the location of their lens is REALLY nice....as well as getting the aperture from a 2.4 to a 2.2...

another thing missing is connectivity to low power bluetooth devices....

burst photo/best photo, meh....

yeah the Touch ID I like....will I use it, probably not, but its "cool"....the 64 bit processor was a good upgrade as well....

Nope. That is a false blanket statement. You only need to look at past Apple event days from a few years ago to see the difference. This is the market reacting to a disappointment. Already had to get rid of some stock before it free falls even more.

the camera sensor is 15% larger...that is actually a big deal...megapixels mean nothing in the end if the sensor isn't up to par...the fact they were able ti increase the sensor size based on the location of their lens is REALLY nice....as well as getting the aperture from a 2.4 to a 2.2...

The dual tone LED...could be a big thing. I hate flash photography...esepcially on phones and consumer products because of the off color balance...this potentially corrects that and actually makes it usable.

He knows shit about what he's talking about. He's one of those dillholes that buys a camera because it has twice as many megapixels as last years.

No...its not. I own stock. I've been paying attention to this for years. At major keynotes and shareholder announcements the price of the stock goes down. And comes back up in a couple days.

ram increase/processor increase/camera pixel or software upgrade IMO are something which ever new model has....

take a laptop to a sell phone to a damn PS or Xbox....every new model, will have that....the iphone 5c doesnt, which is just telling people, hey we took the iphone 5 and threw a new colored wrapper on it....and selling it back to you for more $$$.....

yes the aperture was a decent add on....nothing innovative here....there are phones out there which are cheaper with better camera's....

as I mentioned, if you feel this phone is an upgrade, you might as well wear a tshirt reading "Leave APPLE alone" .....trust me, I will oblige....

Train/Metro stations, stores like 7-Eleven, McDonalds, etc... but it is not purely for payment type activities. NFC can do so much more.

No they are not. The OS interfaces are completely different. I find android to be unintuitive and giant mess. I don't enjoy using it...and I've used several different version including the newest galaxy tablet.

Sure...maybe people enjoy it just fine once they spend the time to get it all customized...but what a hassle and a half...and going through the giant pain to get it sync with an apple.

Not worth the headache IMO.

I state this as my opinion and always have...if you want to use android be my guest...I dont on you for it like some people here have a penchant for doing.

Then why is the headline from last year...?

"Apple Stock Hits New Record Following iPhone 5 Announcement"

The carriers neutering of Google Wallet is largely to blame. Too busy trying to get their own shitty system off the ground (it's been like five years) so they block the installation of Wallet. It's one of the main reasons I was excited for NFC, however I've never been able to pay for anything.

I did use NFC quite a bit in my car to activate driving mode, etc. Now I use a BT trigger when the car starts up.

It's unusual to see Apple's stock spike following an iPhone announcement. In the past few years, the stock typically rises in the week leading up to the announcement, but then drops in the days after.

Im so glad to see you think I wear crocs.

Like I said you are full of shit. We had this debate, when it was an actual debate, and I've stated my use of android, why I dont like it, and why the iphone works for me.

I dont need to buy a S4...when I have easy access to the android devices I already don't like using.

Don't make statements you arent actually willing to back up (and you aren't)

I use both interchangeably. The problem is you are using a skinned device, which is what turns most people off from using Android. Samsung is particularly bad (trying to sell my S3, I know). The Google versions are much closer to what Apple puts out there, with the exception of hiding the app drawer that Apple uses as their OS theme.

I switched over from Apple on my phone because the screen was too small. I don't have a problem with the OS, as I just went from a 10" Touchpad with Android to an iPad Mini. Both OS have their merits and demerits.

Not super impressed and honestly it's hard to go from one year to the next and be like holy cow it's a must upgrade. I think the first iPhones warranted it because of key features like 3G, video, and a whole different look from 3GS to 4. But the last few haven't impressed me. I'd likely go from a 4 to a 5s for sure if I stuck with Apple but I preferred the features, OS, and lack of iTunes of my Note 2. But I def won't be going to Note 3.
