I know the samsung shoots 120fps...but does it allow for selective speed ramping as this apparently does? (I honestly dont know)...because that is actually a big deal, coming from the film world.

And the being able to use the fingerprint sensor to not only secure your phone but to authenticate for purchases...

Also...I like the idea of the two tone flash, we'll see how it really works.

The secondary processor for motion...awesome.

There was never going to be NFC...apple has stated multiple times the tech is not there yet. both security and implementation.

The phones have airdrop...no need to make your phones "hump" each other.

well the IMO the iphone 5C is worthless....the Iphone 5s is decent with the 64bit processor and the fingerprint scanner....

all my laptops have a fingerprint scanner but i never use it....

it will be funny if you cant use your thumb as a 'finger' and you have you use your index finger....it will make the phone a 2 hand operating phone, worse than the 6.3" Samsung Mega LOL

and if you are working on the car and slit your finger, well you wont be able use this "innovative" feature until the finger heals up LOL

Don't really know you, or care to argue with you Sarlacc, but the problem is not what you are stating. The problem is that Apple always tell everyone that they are the first ones to do it. While it may be true for the 64-bit processor, everything else is false. Just calling it by a different name or putting the letter "i" in front of it, does not mean they invented it - just the name. If they acknowledged the tech and told people they were making it better, then it wouldn't be so painful to watch.

 

The 5 is gonna be that rare-bird apple device.

 

All they said was the 5C will have pre-orders on the 13th and both go on sale on the 20th.

I wonder if they expect the 5C to out sell the S this time around.


And if the morons havent paid attention...the 5C was primarily created for the Chinese market...because of they operate over there....notice how they just had to point out the first time sales in China for release day...

Fingerprint thing is cool, faster processor is good, worth going from 5 to 5s, not sure.

Nice updates, nothing awe-striking about any of them at this point. I do like the fingerprint sensor, I enjoy using it on my laptop.

I'm very much hoping for a 4.5" or 4.7" device next year. That would make me jump back.

The price of the phones is nothing new...never has been.

I paid $600 for the original iphone on release day. I dont remember what I paid for the 3G...I paid $399 for the 32gb 4, 3 years ago...And I'll pay for the 64gb for me and my wife for these phones.

Why...because we take a lot of photos/videos of our toddlers with it, the memory will be nice.
