I'm not doing each text one by one...

When you go to the messages screen, yes, you press edit and a bunch of red circles appear on the left side of each convo between you and a contact and when you touch the circle, it asks you if you want to delete. Delete erases ALL history of your texts to that person(s), not just one text, I knew that. What I want to do is essentially do a "clear history" and delete every single convo that I've had to everyone, wiping all texts from history.

Heh but it was from 2-3 years ago.... a lot of the numbers weren't even assigned to contacts since I removed them or didn't transfer them over. ah, whatever.... its done now. I'll just keep track and wipe it every few weeks or something.

 

I still have all my SMS convo's from August '08 thru now

 

I figure Sly said it sped up his 3G and it really wouldn't hurt. I don't see any reason why to keep texts like "yo where you at" or "meet you at john's house at 5" from like 2 years ago.

 

I've heard the 5GB limit being BS. Can you point me to the ATT link saying this? They should call it 5GB plan instead of unlimited. Holy law suit.

 

I've read AT&T's T&C, and the 5GB limit applies to the data connect plans. ie, netbook, and data cards or tethering plans.

Not smartphones. Everything relating the 5GB limit to smartphones not being tethered is either a distortion of the facts or hearsay.

Btw I need a new sync cable, anyone know where to get a good one? I prefer cheap, don't care about brands as long as it's durable, and preferably the longer the better... It needs to be at least as long as the boxed in OE one.

I see a buttload of them on amazon for like a few bucks or even less, butthe reviews are all over the place. I'd rather buy one for $5 that lasts for years than a $2 cable that randomly craps out after a few months.

 

netflix, downloading songs, mywii. Had to run my uncles store for a month and i was at the store 10-11 hours a day. 7 days a week. So all i did was watch movies, download songs, surf the net. It is possible. I can post a snapshot of my usage from myaccount on att.

I buy them through the cheapest ebay seller in the USA for like $1.59 shipped. Buy a bunch. Honestly they only crap out when my kid decides to suck on it.

when you take a photo in HDR mode on the iphone 4 it saves two images.. one regular and one HDR- works pretty well in the right situations:

i love it. also enjoying considerably better reception than the GS. i will love it more if I can get my apps back on. there has to be something in place for when you can't do it via itunes. I mean, all of the receipts are recorded, and I have all the emails, I dont see what the problem would be. I don't mind searching for them again and installing again and losing all my records and sh*t, i just dont want to have to pay for it again.

Are you signed into your iTunes account on your 4?

Iirc if you try to dl something you bought before it just prompts you and let's you DL it again.

I did it a while ago so I don't remember.

 

Are the apps saved in iTunes on your computer? Can't just drag them from the folder into your 4?

 

you don't pay for apps twice. download them right to your phone from the app store if you like.

Figure out what jailbreak you are using, watch some youtube videos of 11 year old kids showing you how to do it and go for it. I rank below computer illiterate and I did it.
