Anybody experiencing slow as balls times with installous? My downloads wont even finish.. Been going on for the last 2 days

How'd you add it to your homescreen?

I have the paid thing to get faster speeds. But earlier today a buddy was on it and it downloaded just fine

its as simple as putting a link on your home screen.

just press the "+" button in safari and click on "add link to homescreen" or something like that.

i thought it would be an actual webapp. but no it just links you to the mobile youtube website in safari.

its cause i have another uhh.. webapp that doesnt load up in safari.

YouTube got in my brain and prompted me to add it to my homescreen as soon as I loaded the page. I never new this was possible. Thanks

That is crazy sick that you got froyo goodness on your iPhone... WOW...Teh Android is everywhere...

Yeah the You Tube app sucks. Mobile link for the win. But the vids don't always work. Like you click on the pic of the vid and it won't load. But I had this happen more on the app.

FYI, if you make links to certain websites, the icon for the bookmark might be a special icon. Like slickdeals has an SD like how You Tube has its logo instead of a minimized page.

they look damn good imo, and from what ive noticed there is very little battery drain, and ive yet to run out of resources in any way.

How do I get to use those?

It runs like shit! I got the google apps installed and almost none of them work without crashing. Video doesn't play on youtube, the iPhone now won't charge the battery when it's running android and even when it is charged battery life is about an hour and everything is SLOOOOOW, if it works at all!

Yes and no. I should have been clear. I didn't create the wallpapers. I searches for dreamscape vista video wallpapers. From those clips I cropped, resized and encoded to mpeg4. Then I copied them into the root folder where the files are stored by the vwallpapers app.


I upped them for someone else. I'll post the link here as well. I've made a few more, but they aren't in the original zip.

Netflix is up and running on the iPhone, apparently.

With this and the moviez site I'm going to shatter my bandwith. Thank God I got unlimited data. Already watched most of the Expendables. Time to start watching some Weeds, Californication, and 30 Rock.

*crickets* about this or everyone's watching netflix? Just watched an ep of Weeds. Probably 3 total skips mostly at the beginning. Then one part it got stuck so I rewound it. The rewinding/ffing feature is pretty good like You Tube.

im sure that wont take long to change... its such a simple thing to add...cant imagine they would leave it out for good.

my dad's iphone stopped syncing his gmail account in July. I am trying to fix. all the settings are correct. I see this is a very common problem, but I dont see any solution. anyone know how to fix? would appreciate any info.

strange. never had an issue with my gmail not syncing.

maybe make sure that in his gmail settings that IMAP is enabled.

thanks - everything looks set correctly - I really don't know how to fix. I think he is going to take it to the AT&T store.

i meant gmail settings at the actual website. not on the phone.

and if AT&T can help. sounds more like something that you would take care of at the "genius" bar at an apple store.

actually i was having issues with my colleges webmail, it wasnt able to connect anymore to the server.

found out that they actually migrated their email service to gmail. kind of cool, but useless to me since i dont got there anymore at the moment.
