Time for me to switch phones. Love my GNexus, but it's starting to get really slow.
These are my options:
Nexus 5 - $100
M8 - $200
Galaxy S5 - $200
What would you choose based on price and specs?

I should clarify that I really need a new phone. Over the last two weeks, my GPS has conked out while driving.
I'm getting the phone through my company from T-Mobile(subsidized), that's why the prices are what they are.
I'm leaning toward the M8; only concern is the camera. I like Nexus phones, but reviews indicate that the battery isn't too good.

Just bought the M8.
Just went to BB to "window shop." Still can't get used to Touchwiz! The S5 also took pictures slower than the M8, so more blur on action shots. Sense isn't too far from vanilla Android.

I have to say I am absolutely blown away with all the awesome stuff talked about regarding L coming out as well as all the other stuff today at Google I/O. I think this might have been one of the biggest announcements yet as far as the amount of new stuff.
Anyone try Android L yet?

Backing up my Nexus 7 2013 and gonna flash in a bit. I hear its pretty stable for a beta. Lots of cool features they announced yesterday and very excited about Android Wear and the upcoming Chromecast mirroring.

So the new Google Search update and a server side update will now allow you to trigger "OK Google" on any screen even when the device is off like the Moto X!

Has anyone gotten the update yet? I'm still waiting for it to activate on my side cause I would love to play with it.

Holy crap Android L is fast! First boot took forever but wow its so smooth. I've been using ART on KitKat along with the Dalvik and Bionic patches but L is on another level right now. Very impressed with the speed improvements Google has done on ART and L overall so far!
For anyone interested on the Dalvik and Bionic patches on Nexus 4, 5, and 7 2013 devices you can flash the one from the M8 or the Z2:
