Been a ZAGG screen protector fan for a long time, but is there anything better I don't know about?
The new zaggHD is cut smaller (for a case) and there are a lot of complaints...

Click on the "More" button --> Restore Contacts. There you can select how far back you want to restore your contacts. Then resync with your phone.
I also have Zagg Extreme on one phone and that works great too, but is the thickest version (being able to withstand hammer slams and all).
Are you a fan of dry or wet application? What about tempered glass?
I have ZaggHD on 2 phones and they work better than the original Zagg. What complaints are you talking about?

The complaints were about the HD's lack of full coverage of the screen with a noticeable gap around all edges that was catching fingers, dust, etc..

Got rid of Go SMS Pro and am going with Textra. Go was really good and obviously better than stock Messaging but got too sluggish in the last few updates and some texts weren't sending. Plus I wasn't being notified when they didn't send. Textra seems to have what I need and most importantly a functioning pop up notification that clears notifications.
I ordered the original from Zagg. I have had the original wet aplication protector from Zagg for several phones now.

Alternatively, you could just get the HD, and if you hate it, return it for the Original.
The phones I have the HD on have cases on them. The original does not have a case (still gets some dust on occasion but comes off easily with a wipe)
What's strange is my RazrM had a Zagg original (edge to edge nearly) and a tpu case and I never had any issue with the edges of the Zagg. In all fairness, the tpu case does not even cover the complete front of the bezel though, so no real chance for interaction. I certainly would have preferred the clarity of the HD, but with a tpu cover on it's way for the X, I wanted as much screen coverage as possible.
Had Zagg offered the HD in a full OR case friendly design, no brainer I would have gotten the HD.

Has anybody bought a one plus one? To get an invite to buy you need to know somebody that bought one or win a contest. I wonder if it will be available for all in the next month or two when the hype dies down.
If you synced your Account to Google, you can restore your previous contacts. Navigate to:

Click on the "More" button --> Restore Contacts. There you can select how far back you want to restore your contacts. Then resync with your phone.

I've never synced to a certain time tho.
TPU case came in for the moto x. It covers the edges of the factory screen protector (i haven't removed it yet) so hopefully with the full coverage zagg there wont be any edge issues.

LG has won. They put a freaking LASER BEAM into their G3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes 5.5, but just look at that lack of bezel! It'll prob be just a tad bigger than the G2, more like the S4 size.
My friend showed me one of our co-workers Galaxy S5 battery readouts. He hasn't charged it in 4 days. He confirmed with the guy too that he hasn't plugged it in. He doesn't think he'll troll either. The screen was only like 6% while everyone else I know averages in the 30% range for the screen. Plus he has wifi, BT, 4G, always on and syncing 2 email accounts including one from work.

By far the biggest battery drainers are screen display, and CPU for games, etc. If you rarely use those, and you can go a long long time.
Sync isn't necessarily huge, if pushed, or infrequent sync.
The people who complain about battery life are playing with their phones a lot, or have apps installed that aggressively sync/push/wakelock. For example, almost every chinese person I know has Wechat installed, and wechat is a wakelock beast.
The S5 has a couple of really neat things - like the black and white mode which should save power like crazy on superamoled. I'd totally use that for reading, etc.
Phone battery time is usually best determined by 'screen on time', regardless of the time period that is spread across.

Screen is my biggest battery drainer. I was thinking that maybe in the S5's the screen being on is more efficient to the battery. In other words, you'd have to have the screen on X more minutes to outdrain the OS batterywise for example.
Screens will never be that efficient I think because the OS is constantly getting more efficient too and its a lot easier to make the OS more efficient than the screen. At least thats my guess.
The perfect car stereo-Android phone "dock"?
But the phone's actual size is only still not as tall as the HTC One (M8) and only about as wide as the S5.
All that extra screen size without giant bulk FTW.
Now, a giant sized 5.5" screen phone would be the OnePlus One.

The G3 has a fantastic feature where you can swipe the spacebar to scroll the cursor to where you need to make your correction. That's brilliant, I hate trying to pinpoint the cursor to add/remove a letter. I generally stick to keyboard layouts with cursor keys, but a quick swipe to move is awesome.

iPhone as well.
