Android: Phone News and Discussion Thread
I put it in the front pocket, but when I sit I either have to swing the top part of the phone (highest on in the pocket) outward or take the phone out of my pocket to be comfortable.
I ain't no damn hipster.
When I sit down I don't like my phone in my pocket. My jeans aren't tight at all but they're not ghetto loose either. And I have thick legs. I never put them in my back pocket because it's easy to steal IMO. Note 4/34x30/decent size quads. This is like the 6th time in this thread this has come up
btw, I figured out what was causing my Flickr photos to have a green tint when viewed on some Android devices (see previous page).... and it hasn't nothing to do with the devices. For some reason, when I was exporting my photos from Lightroom, in the "Color Settings" it was set to ProPhoto RGB, I don't know why or how that happened, but I changed it to Adobe RGB, re-uploaded that picture to Flickr, view it again on my Note 3 and now it's fine. Even when I download the picture to my phone (from Flickr) the picture no longer has that green tint

I have no problem with it in my pocket at all. I don't really wear that baggy of pants either but they are definitely not skinny jeans at all
Now my Nexus 6 on the other hand. That I had to always take out of my pocket to sit down. the extra width that had just made it annoying.
Glad you are enjoying it. Yes the speakers are great. The screen is also one of the best I have used other than a Samsung device which always seem to have the brightest but not always color true displays.

Thats the problem!
check the the fine print on the charger it self.
it will tell you the specs of it.
the fastest ones are 5v/2.1amps! and should be the standard now.
if your home charger is a few years old, it might be a lower spec'd charger, which outputs at a lower speed.
just a few years ago, manufactures were putting together cheap cables.
monoprice.com has a good cable.
I recently picked up the brand "tronsmart" cables..

I have never had any issue with mine having any bends at all with almost 8 months of use.

also, i dont think i use the screen to its full potential. I leave it pretty much dimmed all the time and dont play any games at alll.
you just told me the at home charger doesnt charge as fast as the anker.

So other than the Fast Charging mode, Anker is the next fastest way to charge in my house

Not sure if it is still the same but it seems all my past and current Samsung phones charge faster with Samsung cables... Maybe things have changed now.
I have so many Samsung cables at home, i dont even know which one is which one since USB can be dettached from the wall plug. i know 1 came with the edge 6+, which should be the latest cable. But i dont know which one that is.

I definitely don't enjoy it as much as I could either. Mine stays with auto bright off and about 1/5th brightness most of the time so I can get as much battery life as possible. Get about 16-18hrs a day that way.
I forgot to charge the Nexus 5x last night. Put it down with 88% last night at bedtime (low useage day) @1:00AM and when I picked it up this AM to look, it was at %83.
Nice to know I can skip a night if needed and still have decent charge the next day.

Damn, this was rather worrisome, yesterday my aging Note 3 decided to do a restart 3 times in a row for whatever reason
. This is the longest I've ever held onto a phone, I'm holding out for the Note 6 but not sure if I can wait that long

I'm with the notion that I can't get an Android unless it's a Nexus now as well.
In terms of Anker power banks. I'm actually gonna pick up this 10K mAh battery.
[The Most Powerful 10000mAh Power Bank] Anker PowerCore+ 10050 Premium Aluminum Portable Battery Charger with Qualcomm Certified Quick Charge 2.0 Technology includes Quick Charge 2.0 Wall Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015IGALQS..._XeJoxb3P6M4SB
I like that it can charge Qualcomm quick charge 2.0 devices and be charged itself with the included Qualcomm quick charge 2.0 adapter
And for my iPhone it'll charge at 2.4 Amps
