I had no problem going from the iPhone 4 to the S3, the biggest size change I had for a long time. There was a bit of trouble going from the 2014 X to the 6P, mainly due to length.
...so, this is really frustrating. I don't know why this started happening in the past few months.
Some of you might know I'm really into photography (as in photography with cameras vs smartphone photography), but a lot of my photos... while they look normal on my laptop (2010 MBP), when I upload my pictures to Flickr, I'm getting this green tint when I view it on my Note 3. When I download the pictures to my Note 3, the green tint is going with, meaning if I want to proceed to uploading to Instagram, the green tint is there too.
Here's a picture I took recently (a friend of mine from Los Angeles). This was downloaded to my phone from Flickr. See that ugly green tint?
but this is how it's suppose to look

so, I thought this might be my Note 3, but I'm in Los Angeles visiting my mom and sister and my sister has an old Nexus 7 (1st gen) that I gave her awhile ago when I bought the Note 3... and the green tint is there too
Anyone has any ideas on what da hell is going on?
and btw... I've had my wife view the Flickr pictures on her iPhone and no green tint

I am having a fair bit of trouble with the increase in size though. It just makes some things harder. Holding the phone in my right hand, it's tough to get to the "back" key on the bottom row and also the icon in the dock on the right hand side.
I am sure I will get used to it, but it sure makes me appreciate the smaller size of the 4.7 phones.
I just...can't...reach...the...bottom...left...corne r...
Arrrgggghhhhh...
Actually haven't used an Android in a long time. Can you swipe from the left side to the right to go back? That requires the phone shifting in your hand too, but it's less precarious than holding onto just the bottom part of your phone to tap the back arrow.

no, not that I am aware of...
On my old phone in the dock at the bottom, I had the dialer icon on the bottom left. I had to move it farther right so I could reach it one handed...
oh, and when I view this thread on my Note 3, BOTH of those pictures above have the green tint
1. Your screen is going out. But i dont think so
2. did you mess or didn't mess with the "warm" "cold" or whatever settings they had in the display setting? Its been a while since i had Note 3. can't recall what it is called. That could be the reason why that guy looks like a zombie.

no, I didn't mess with the screen. but the thing is, I had a buddy of mine look at the picture (from Flickr) on his Nexus 6 and the green tint was there too... as well as my sister's Nexus 7 tablet
What kind of portable chargers are you guys using?
I bought one from Monoprice, a 8000mAh battery pack for like $10 and has been great so far. But from my diehard Ingress playing friends, they always recommend the brand Anker (I say "Ingress" because that game really sucks juice like crazy )
Ive had great luck with these brands ANker, tronsmart, and Aukey.
i tried one brand Kmashi, and it totally sucked. it didnt show correct power levels. and took forever to charge, over 10 hours with a 5v/2.1amp charger

You might want to take a look at a new app "fooView - Float Viewer". It gives
you a floating button that understands various gestures. Their description:
"fooView - Float Viewer is a magic floating button. It's a system enhancement
tool to help you access your favorite websites, apps, games, files, music,
photos, and video by a gesture using one hand."

funny u mentioned this, i have been so out of touch with external chargers.
My friend just gave me a brand new Anker 16000 charger last night.
In theory it should charge my phone up to 5 times.
I am shocked at the charging speed tho. It is as fast, if not faster than my home charger!!

it out puts the same as your home charger!!
none of them should be outputting less than 5v/2.1amps.. if they are, return it and get one that out puts same as home charger
if you have more than 1 port, it should divide power evenly...
2 usb ports = 5v/4.2amps

my home charger is not plugged into a wall.. on an extension cord.
With regular charging mode, it will take me 2.5 hours to charge. The fast charging mode (which i could rarely get it to work) take 1 hour and 10 minutes from 10 to 100%.
So yah the Anker charger is definitely faster than my home charger 90% of the time.
