I hope you're not referring to the "hit" Krejci (I think that was who it was) laid on Crosby.

Cuz, that was not even a hit intended to the head by the Bruin.

......But don’t worry kids…all of our offensive woes will soon be fixed. Because…

You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I’m telling you why
Darryl Sutter is coming to town
He’s making a list
And checking it twice
Gonna find out whose gritty on the ice
Darryl Sutter is coming to town
He sees you when you’re sleeping
He knows when you’re awake
He knows if you’ve been playing D
So play D for goodness sake!
O! You better watch out!

We now know you have a higher hockey iq than Yummy does.
Voynov is that good.

Tuukka was all over the place....and so were the posts last night.

Kings are in a bad funk right now they could put 100 shots on goal and they still won't get more than 2 to go in....let alone one.

I am not referring to that hit, but we now have had 6 players on my team alone THIS SEASON that have been out with concussions due to hits to the head, and only 1 x 3 game suspension was given out for any of them. I know that they're looking at SOME hits, but it's not enough in my opinion

Isn't Darryl Sutter cut from the same coaching cloth as Terry Murray?

Well, I think he needs to shake up your team. Trade one of Bernier or Quick possibly to get some offense. You have teams like TB who need a goalie in bad way...

Or LA can continue to stock up on Flyers. I mean, with Stevens coaching for now...

But, not sure. Still no idea WTF is wrong with the Kings...

But, no more Penner-type trades.

You must be sucking down the cold medicine today.

Dude has been saying what I and nearly every King fan has been saying before and after Murray was fired.

I dunno what you are getting at.

I'll say it again...you would make a poor GM.

You will get nothing for Bernier....his stats are weak this year.
Trade Quick...put down the bong.

Team has PLENTY of offensive talent. That's not the issue.

He's not blaming all the issues on Murray. I thought you said Murray was the crux of the Kings' problems...?

Sorry, I'm more literal than you think I am.

That's why I'm not employed by an NHL team.

And I was just using some examples since you were Voynov-high on Bernier just awhile ago. Bernier this and Bernier that. So, thought he may yield a high return on the trade market since he's such a franchise-turning prospect.

Bernier is good, no doubt...but his stats this year are bad in wins and losses.....he rarely gets played, and behind this losing team he has got nothing to show for it. Make no question about it, Bernier would be very good on another roster, but there is no way the Kings can trade him at this point.

Talk about GM's smelling blood in the water.....if the Kings offered up anything at this point they would get nothing in return....why? The Kings are DESPERATE....and every GM in the league knows this....hence why YOU DO NOT MAKE A TRADE...you will get your @ss handed to you.

So Deano did the only thing he could do: Fire the coach.

Pretty simple. Is it effective? The jury is still out on this.

^ Well, I use goaltending as an example Waldorf because conversely, there are also desperate teams out there too (for goaltending).

So, it's not necessarily a lose situation on your Kings being fleeced because Deano would know a team like T-Bay is desperate for a goalie.

Anyhow...

I think the Bruins are going to need another Defense call up from Providence. I don't see how McQuaid is going to dodge a Shanaban on this one. Very bad move by a guy who isn't a cheap shot artist but still a very stupid dangerous decision. I'm guessing 3-5 games, any more or any less and I'd be surprised. Foligno's OK though, he came back to take part in the 5 minute powerplay.

That's a nasty knee on knee.
Clearly intentional.

Maybe but..

McQuaid has a long history with Foligno -- the two skated together in juniors -- and the personal connection made his actions hit that much closer to home for both players during the postgame breakdown.

"He was just trying to slow down my progress. It was a hockey play and I don't think there was any attempt to injure," said Foligno. "I've known Quaider a long time and I know he's not that type of player."

"I won’t say it harmless. But things happen with [competitive] players that end up getting guys injured.”
http://www.csnne.com/blog/bruins-tal...02&feedID=3944

Still not sure if that affects how Shanny rules on it if he rules on it. You can clearly see McQuaid lift and move his leg into the collision.

It's intentional to impede the other players progress by an "illegal" move.....not to mention extremely dangerous as it allowed for knee on knee contact.

McQuaid should be smarter than that....he has the responsibility.

I'm not denying any of that. I said it right when it happened real time and it was confirmed at the first replay, he's gone for 3-5. I only think it will be interesting because after the game you have both parties saying there was no intent to injure and McQuaid got the 5 minute major and game misconduct so he was penalized for the incident.

I think if Shanny gives a suspension I think it will be based entirely on the fact that regardless of accidental or intentional, it was a dangerous move. Maybe set a little precedent for future rulings.

That move is EXTREMELY reckless.

It does not matter if he intended to injure or not....throwing your leg out like that is a big

Like I said, I agree. I didn't like seeing it especially from a young player who has always played a clean tough game. Only curious if intent will weigh into Shanny's decisions.

Apparently intent has a lot to do with it. $2500 fine no further suplemental discipline.
