Brandon - you now have authoring privilages so you should be able to login now and click dashboard in the upper right and be able to write a post.

Just read the DIY on posting: http://www.jdmlove.org/how-to/

atlp race pipe comes with flanges so oem cat shield can be reused. stealth

rv6 jpipe has more clearance but either atlp or excelerate's version is better built and designed.

mods should be listed on the video note. forgot what was on the car while clip was taken while ago.

Can i do a write up for how much i hate my battery...

Havnt driven car for...oh, 1 day and my shit is dead dead as dead dead gets.

Mind you this is after i re-wired my fogs so that they cant be left on, checked all my grounds. The only thing that "stays on" is my sub, and thats just for the little red light that says its getting power.

At 11 I call speed concept to see how this one year warranty shit works.

Personally, i think it looks funny when there is no rear lip.

If anything, get front and back and then wait for the side skirts.

Reason being, the ASPEC kit really puts a edgy look to the car. Edgy in the front with base roundness looks kinda odd to me.

yeah, i hate how the factory front lip-less-ness looks haha i got a good deal on the full kit too with a dealer discount ends up around 860 (if i remember correctly) but separately the front lip is around 3 or less i thinkk...

front lips of any kind never look good with no support IMO. You need front and rear for sure.

Long weekend for me (5days off). Got all my parts in this week and going to do the icebox/shortshift/hid fogs today. Got 3000k/laminX hids for the foglights since front bumper is coming off anyways. Comtech header should be going on tomorrow after im done polishing it. Header came from the east coast so there is a bit of oxidation and surface rust. Will post pics of the header later!

I agree with what the others said. Front lip looks funny with no rear. I myself plan on just getting front/rear euro lips this spring/summer.

rv6 stays witin the body chasis and atlp/excelerate sticks out a bit. if you gonna slam it, rv6 is the only choice.

is that a race/test pipe? if it is, i had a randomtech cat.
and is the resonator welded on the catback or is that a resonated race pipe?

get the full lip kit. because you'll eventually buy the whole kit later on and
860 is not a bad price too.

yes its the race test pipe.. the one i have now is a resonated pipe but i am pretty sure thats where my rattle is coming from so i want to go to just straight pipe.. but curious how much louder it will be.. but since you didnt have it i guess you wouldnt know haha.. i wouldnt think it should be too much louder since the resonated one i have now is pretty close to a straight through design anyway and there is no stuffing in it...

even if you have no stuffing in your resonated pipe you still have additional metal creating sound insulation. The race pipe will be a bit louder and a bit more stinky. How do you plan to pass DEQ?

i wouldn't know for sure but it'll sure get louder than it is now and create more rattle. i've played too much with resonators on my previous accord and tsx so i can pretty much guess the outcome of removing that resonated race pipe you have now. plus you'll have more drone and it'll get raspy.

when i deleted all of the cats (3 total) on my tl few months ago, it create all sorts of sounds such as heavy drone, metals clunking, cabin vibrating from exhaust resonating, etc... so i installed the 3rd cat back on and welded on longer resonator after the 3rd cat and metal clunking noise dissapeared.

now i'm wondering if that rattling noise is created by resonation. also try pulling out heat shield on top where cat used to reside.

maybe thats what i should try.. (removing the heatshield) just sick of the rattle.. almost tempted to put my old cat back in just to see if that is really it too.

amp wiring can get fustrating.. why isnt your amp hooked up on a switch so it will turn off when the radio is off?

the aspec kit is VERY edgy...
i'm staying with no kit on mine. i like the curves
but if your going with any part of it - imo you should just do the whole thing so it all flows
