So did anyone make it to the meet? Sorry I had to bail, women can be like that sometimes....

Anyways try stickercity.com for some clear. I got 4 square feet of 3M tint for my MDX taillights when I still had it and I think you could get it from them in a 1'x1' sheet.

Its sad how they have to use a picture of a dead president to remember what their state is called.

havent seen it. i saw a nice white one at lloyd center mall with a mugen spoiler wasnt too bad

the 09s are ugly upfront the back end looks good. but the gauges on the inside look like a cluster F they really need to do something to it to make easier to make an aftermarket stereo swap possible

^^those gauges are in the new TL too, they are "power plenum" gauges to match the "power plenum" grill. But the more times I see it I like it, all except for that damn grill! get the JDM grill on it and it really looks pretty good.

I like the new TSX, but in black only.

Also, there is a silver TSX on split 5 spoke ASA wheels that lives next to me. Maybe ill throw a AcuraZine note on his window. He always breaks his neck when i drive by. He even makes his girl/wife look

There is also a NBP 07 Type-S Lowered on Time attack RonJons, Legends i think. He got his work done at the shop my girl used to be a receptionist at. But when he was at the same gas station i was at, all he did was wave, and drove off before i came back out of the store.

I was watching planet earth on discovery last night and they kept airing like 5 min long TL commercials. Would show all this powerful nature shit, then try incorperate a TL into it. Looks even worse on TV

^^Haha I was watching the same thing last night and thought the same thing! Also I was watching the channel 12 news this morning tell me I will surely loose every penny I have and they were airing Acura commercials on every ad space possible.

Acura must know their new designs are sh*t and just want to convince us they own. lol

I am so not privy to TL stuff, what is the ATLP? Is that like an exhaust?

Was it silver? If so i think the owner works at FEI. Anyways...fake ass exhaust on it. "0-60" Magazine has one as a project car, and they have a diagnal quad titanium exhaust. Looks so nice.

Speaking of exhaust....ATLP is the nicest sounding 3g TL setup IMO

Acura TL Parts = ATLP

Check it out.

http://www.acuratlparts.com/

One of the members on Acurazine is the vendor for ATLP.

You can find a few of their stuff in the Sponsored/Group Buy Section of the site.

AWESOME clean sounding exhaust setup...no fart cans

Wish they would make it for the CL....hopefully soon!

the IS-F is nice but for 58K i can think of something else to get. or better yet buy something cheaper maker it just as fast..

nice exhaust.. curious what it would sound like in person.. you gonna add a header and highflow cat?
did you end up going to the track last weekend?

No headers for our cars. I may end up buying the ATLP J-Pipe, and Highflow or Race Cat this winter.

I went, didnt run though...Pretty sure 14.7 is as fast as it would be in that set up. I want to go this weekend, but with a chance of rain im sure it will be canceled. But the following weekend i should have my exhaust installed. So i may take out the back seat and all the other stuff not really bolted down, and see what happens < 14.5

There is not nearly the aftermarket for the TL as there is for the TSX.

Hondata would be $$$ but of course...it wouldnt be cost effective for them to do all the R&D and have what...like 100ish people buy it?

its all about the market, the TL market doesn't tune like the TSX market does. So the toys they do get are really expensive because they are produced in low numbers blah blah.

So when you do see a tuned TL it's quite a site because you know how much $$$ time and devotion the owner put into it.

Youre probably right. But alot of people will be turned off by the down time with no ECU, from my understanding dont you have to send your ECU to Hondata, or is that just on the RSX side? Plus needed to then be properly tuned, unless they wanna run a base map.

Tell me about it....
On Saturday after the races i stopped at the gas station by my house to get some beer, and i come out and some older guy and his son were looking my car over. The kid had to do all the talking for his father who was speaking in what sounded like Russian. Anyways, he asked how much i put into it. And i could only answer with one of those nervous laughs as i couldnt even put a number on it without sitting down and adding it all up.

The last two months alone...ive put over $5k into the car.

Damnit im dumb....

So yes, all the parts are in low supply and expensive as shit, but you gotta pay to play.

ya i hate answering that question too only cause im wondering if they plan to jack my car or something HAHA
ya you do have to send it to hondata takes about 4 days total down time.. unless you have a second car or a second chip-set.. i was lucky enough i didnt have to go through all that but i did have to pay more for the second ecu. so technically i paid double the amount HAHA..

I thought the same thing. But every question after that was about fuel mileage/miles per tank/tank size.....strange

oh and Turbo SUV...ftl. Is it possible to swap RDX to TSX? not sure what kind of room you guys are working with.

I never tell people costs on anything, cars, clothes, computers, or food. Money is the root of evil and makes people act like 'tards. So I just don't mention it, if someone asks I just say "more than I should have."

No you cannot put the RDX motor in the TSX, or well....I haven't seen anyone attempt. So far people are spending most of their time on the CT supercharger or the triple ECU no VSA/ABS, A/C etc... "turbo" set up that no one has really done but one person supposedly.

However; I am really interested in Dayta's set up with the CT super charger with the Methane mix. He seems to be really the only one doing extensive research and producing tangible results. However; now I believe his last dyno was 250+ WHP which he said he was bordering on excessive torque steer. So, in short, I'd love to have his set up.

For now I think I'll just look into new struts and shocks, maybe Koni yellows, J's exhaust, and hondata (no I have not done it yet, do point and laugh) lol.

there is room for it.. but not swapable yet.. nor do i think it would be.. it has the SH AWD system which would also be nice to have.. of course in the JDM market they have AWD tsx's and here in america we are screwed again.
haha i get that damn fuel question too.. even with all my bolt ons i still get the same MPH.. of course i have a heavy foot.
