if you don't mind cutting your catback piping, get t1r and weld on the magnaflow resonator (something longer than 12") between the t1r and the exhaust.

so youre thinking i should do the t1r and 2 resonators? i have one on the dc sport already.. i was just trying to make everything bolt on as much as possible... honestly i just have a cheap ebay resonator on there now for the cat delete.. so i am thinking if i just ran with the tir in its place i should be good.. my car might be alittle louder but thats it.. might even experiment alittle and take it to a muffler place and see if they could cut the resonator off straight pipe it and add a bung so i can put in the o2 sensor.. its pretty much the same thing i guess

Are you looking for more sound or some performance improvement? Because the performance difference from the T1R test pipe and the RT Cat are nominal at best. The RT will get you through DEQ without having to take it off and put your OEM cat back on. Also, it'll help tone down the amount of noise in the cabin.

The only issue would be the floating flange design but I can't remember if it was Min who suggested it to me a long time ago you can weld those floating flanges back to the cat and it'll eliminate any leaking coming from those. Or try HeelToes new metal cat, or a magnaflow cat. Just my .02

Talking

So i installed all the parts Fri/Sat. Friday i took about 3hrs and did icebox, shortshift, and hid fogs. Yesterday did the header which ended up taking about 3.5 hours because of stripped cat. nuts. Had to run mid install and get new nuts and antiseize so they dont seize again. Anyhow some pics

Notice the header before

After

Im happy with with header/box combo as the car has a bit more pep. Short shift im not so sure about yet because of the increased effort. HIDs are nice still need to adjust the pass. up and every thing will be gravy. Weathertech visors are nice a stealthy looky not too big and retains the factory chrome trim. Now on to the suspension as i want to get the koni SP3's have them on by spring.

i prefer the bolt on too rather than cutting and welding things, but i know those rattles are pain in the ass and just suggesting a way that might kill the rattles. so guess you have three ways you can try to resolve the rattles.

1. retain the current resonated race pipe, cut the existing dc resonator and replace it with longer magnaflow resonator.

2. replace the race pipe with t1r version and magnaflow resonator.

3. rt high flow cat and retain dc catback. i had no issue with cel or exhaust leak from the flanges. just make sure you double up the gaskets and you'll be fine. also you'll lose some high end hp but gain back low end tq by adding in the cat.

local company called united finance sells repo vehicles on ebay once a while. some cars are very dirty in or outside because they just sell it off as it is but this accord seems very clean and only 87k.

I did it myself. Put in about 3-4 hours into it. Sandpaper, wirebrush, various polishing wheels (+powerball mini) and a couple drills does the trick.

Very nice work Want to polish my TSX stockies wheels? With shiny style might just consider keeping em and getting new tires for those over the TL-S wheels. Can go lower on TSX stockies because of offset

ok so small rant -

anyone ever park at the parking garage across from the crystal ball room? entrance is on 14th right after burnside. anyways the garage is rediculous! verical driveway - im not really sure how its can be legal then you get up to the parking area and there are just random poles everwhere and no direct driving path. but to top it all off -- my monster truck scraped the front bumper twice leaving -- now thats just stupid

fyi - dont park there....:thumbsdow

checked kbb and worst private party price is 4000 and 3000 for dealer trade in. i think scratches can be buffed out too. usually other cars they sell are trashed inside but this one is really clean. just some new wax outside and interior shampoo will do. also aftermarket parts for this car is really cheap on ebay

if i buy it, it'll be my daily beater/gas saver so don't really care if its auto/5spd. although price now is 3050 and less than 1hour left. gotta think think...

Hey guys! What's up?!

Its been awhile since I have been on the forums here... I'm not even going to try to catch up with what has been going on. LOL

I will try to take some picks soon so you can guys see my 'new' Euro-R front lip.

In the meantime, I am looking for some cheap wheels ASAP, perferably OEM for my g/f's 2002 Accord 4x100.

PM please since i will probably not check this thread all too much...

Michael

they do both.. underdrive and a light OEM..

the one they sent me is there OEM size for a k20 tsx which i guess is smaller? he said that i could use it as an underdrive since its the same size as the underdrive kits so i dont know.

since i have an auto i also had to buy a pulley tool.. my impact gun couldnt take it off and it goes up to 300ft lbs

so now i have to redo my project another weekend.. hopefully last weekend of the month is dry i can try again.. oh and the wind was horrible so ya couldnt do my other suprise project for you guys either..

butttttttttttt good news is i did do a nice buff and wax job so the car is nice and shiny.. ill have to take some pics tomorrow hopefully it wont be too dusty

Brandon - the UR pulleys for the TSX are techincally for a RSX-S which is a K20 So yes, you can use the K20 pulley....

Kyle - How will the kids know it's time for class?

Anyone know of a good place for an alignment. I hit my perfect ride height and the settling is done. Some place other than schwabs.... and a place where I can get in with out ripping off my front bumper.
