Only thing i noticed when i installed them is the Air Temps at the manifold only being 15-20 deg warmer than the outside air when at cruising speed with a CAI.

Colder air = more combustable = better mpg in the long run.

my tsx was done at firestone on canyon. they have wood blocks for lowered cars and not sure if they still have that great "lifetime" alignment deal going.

and the tl was done at jim bacon's tire factory. they have wood blocks too so it can climb up to alignment rack.

if your going to adjust dampers on ksport, you'll have to take off oem strut bars every single time. and if rv6 strut bars are sold out, they are gone unless richie decides to make more.

like what kyle said, it doesn't do anything other colder throttle body and intake mani. its said to have few hp gains but not much noticeable (depends on your buttdyno)

spacer is just a thermal spacer so intake mani and tb stays cooler by not directly thouching the hot engine parts. but plenum is like a extra storage for the mani to hold more air. p2r makes plenum for the CLs and the gains are incredible.

this is p2r's website. they show the difference.

btw... aem v2 arrived today and its already on my tl. i was very curious how inner tubing was designed and got shocked to see just two different diameter of tubes welded together...

will need some time for ecu to readjust and see if i feel the difference.

I figure the theory behind the V2 is sucking in a larger volume of air through a wider diameter pipe at the filter then cramming that volume of air into a smaller diamete pipe at the TB creates a bit of pressure.

Speaking of stiff rides, apparently our new Mayor Sam Adams likes it stiff!!!! ROFL

aem v2 does pull harder than the v1 for sure. i was coasting 20mph and floored the gas, and when tech reached 4,000 rpm, it torque steered on the straights..

but couple problems... when i compared with my v1 pipe, v2 was definitely longer and the filter sits right behind the fog housing now. this wasn't a problem with the v1. also filter being right behind the fog housing means, its sitting really low to the ground. i can actually touch the filter through small hole.

it works fine as long as you dont have fogs haha

as kyle said back a ways they dont want to invest money in designing it. tho they could just bend it slightly or cut it a bit shorter for ALL tl intakes and it would be fine...its all so dumb.

IMO they should just make it so it doesnt need to be adjusted - again thats why i pay the money instead of just going to home depot...but what ev. my intake sits fine doesnt rub or anything just sits closer to my fog light than i'd perfer. ill like cuz i never see it lol

i already had one since the v1 and reused it on the v2.

checked the holes again in the morning and if it starts to rain, there is a chance of constant splashing to the filter. it should be alright unless if i hit good sized puddle.

and

it can be converted if i decide to use aem bypass valve for the cai. bypass used to be really popular back in the days to prevent it from hydrolocking. but not many are using them anymore after its proven to lose power.

hydroshield really keeps the filter clean. can't really tell the difference from the 5month old filter from my v1 and brand new one from v2.

and if you wanna go custom on the intake plenum... uhmm... i believe you'll have to slice up the intake mani first

not sure if you guys seen this from 4g tl section...

discount tires are clearing out rays baracuda for $100 each. they also used to have $50 off when you purchase 4 but not anymore. its 19x9.5 but bad part is its 5x120. doesn't fit 3g tl or tsx. will fit the rl and 4g tl.

but still... brand new set of rays g-games for $350 is a steal
