True...i think i drive slower in this than i did the snow/ice.

------------

So there is a 07 Type-S front bumper for sale in the black market right now down in Salem. Its NBP and scuffed/scratched to hell. Depending on how low this guy will go i may end up picking it up and starting my Type-S conversion. Id be stripping the paint myself, then maybe even try my hand at body filler in some of the scratches depending on their size.

You guys think i should do it??

if the bumper is hella good deal.

after parking my tl for two weeks during the snow storm, i got so comfy driving the suvs. love the mdx but rdx should be better being smaller and more nimble. or even thinking about the new fit.

I wanna get the bumper, but im not sure if i want to deal with possibly having to fill in body filler....but i dont want to pass up the deal and kick myself later...

But then again i dont have a job yet. Interview tomorrow though...so hopefully ill get offered the job.

My plan is to work on the bumper myself, while i gather up all the trim pieces and fog lights.

----------------

Anyone else get caught in the snow??

I was out and noticed there was about a inch on the roads...BBK's and snow covered roads dont mix.

Hey does anyone have any experience dealing with Auto Trim Design? I was thinking of going to them to get my windows tinted. I just figured I would see if anyone had any opinions about them.

not sure in your area a good place.. there was a mention of places a few posts ago but those places are up here.. I was just down by albany (sweethome) last weekend.. that is a long ass drive.. of course it was pouring buckets of rain so i couldnt go above 75 without not seeing far enough ahead of me.. (side note.. ODOT needs to fix the damn POT HOLES!! im sick of swerving like a drunk person)
anywayya check a few posts ago.. might be in the 30s on a good tint place.

Aftermarket Intakes for the TL-S are exactly the same as the 04-06 Aftermarket Intakes.

Not worth it to the companies to ship them with a smaller filter, or redesign the intake all together.

I would help you OStateBeaver but 1) no garage =( so it would have to be a dry day and 2) i dont know much about the TL-S body. so ripping all the plastic around it to snake the pipe around might take awhile.. on the other hand i do have all the tools needed to probably do it..

It all pops off uber easy...worst part is getting the resinator part of the stock air box out...all the clips are pretty much visible...just remember to unhook your fogs before pullin the bumper off

wouldnt you want to just rip it off? then it gives you a reason to upgrade to HIDs

Anyone know where to get some decent semi-gloss vinyl? I am wanting to black out my chrome just doesnt look right with carbon on it and black rims

I have a garage and am willing to sub it out to you guys to work on it. Plenty of tools, but know nothing about TL's so Brandon would have to hook you up on install, I'll just open the beererator and watch lol.

4300K is the Acura HIDs

Kyle - how did your job interview go?

Brandon - get the JDM black trim from heeltoe yo!

That sounds good to me (the garage) so there you go ORstate just need to get your intake and plan a time.

and the jdm black trim is SPENDY.. rather take the cheap route.. should get the stuff in a week

Ha, funny thing is i never really drive over the speed limit unless im on the highway.

We need another meet when the weather gets better and i could make a 360 gif of your car easy.

No v2 yet for me. I am refi'ing my house right now and my payment is going way down. The first month that money is going to the v2 and my window tint. It should be soon, but prob not till a lil later in the month. That still be ok with you guys then?

If you dont mind....

Why the V2?

If i recall correctly, ive seen a couple threads of people having the lower mounting tab breaking at the welds. Luckily no large debris was ingested into the motor...but that wouldnt be a fun day if it did.

Have you looked into the Fujita F5 CAI at all?
