installed the new resonator.. rattle is gone but now its louder.. ugh i cant win.. i just want a decent resonator that will bring back my tone close to when i first got the exhaust put on the car

That sucks. Thought about an additional resonator after the cat? Or silencers for the mufflers?

ya i thought about it.. i think im going to get a vibrant ultra quiet resonator suppose to be alittle better.. if that doesnt quiet it down ill have both on

ya i tried to get people together but the day after the 4th of july just doesnt fly for most.. sure would of been nice to get 4 CGP in a couple photos..
a year or so ago we had a meet were there was 3 of us it seemed and one was supercharged havent heard or seen him since probably sold the car

^Looks like I need to fix an embarrassing scratch on the right front fender before I hang with anyone. Apparently I hit the wall pulling into my favorite parking spot at work. Now I have a patch of garage wall white to clean off and buff out. I guess I'll have to take the whole thing down to APeX and have them do it right...hey, while I'm there, I should probably get the front windows tinted too...right?

i was talking to the guy at the muffler shop near me that welded on my resonator and he said he could do the whole thing for 300.. the problem is that legally he cant due to the catylatic converter but under the table i might beable to work something out.. so i think once i pick up a vehicle ill just buy the peices from him and spot weld it at home then bring it back for the arc welding and should turn out just as good

Sounds good. I think that wspy is on the right track, but the price is ridiculous. For that price ($800) you should get the whole exhaust too. The fact that they will not produce dyno results makes the entire deal smell as far as I'm concerned. They can claim 35hp all day long, but if I believed everything I read I'd be taking little red pills to make my dick bigger.

EDiT: And how are you measuring it? (Pun intended) On a AWD vehicle there is a big difference between 35hp at the flywheel and 35hp at the wheels.

^ ya when Pang did his i think it was 26hp there is a video of it on youtube we was on a AWD dyno.. ill have to look for his thread again and post it for you to look at.. i have no doubt it would increase to that but 35 would have to be at the crank and not to the wheel

Yep. 26hp would reflect just about the right amount of loss from the DT. That would be about $30 per hp. That is on par with a shitty intake.

^ the main thing about it the great gas mileage you get.. almost 28 mpg on the highway is priceless compaired to its stock 21 or 22mpg
