Nice small shop, they work on most of the dealers vehicles that need quick, inexpensive fixes.
What do you mean after the last recommendation....?

Anyways..on of my buddies is part owner of that shop. They rocked my tint and would def recommend them not just cuz I wanna get them more business but because they do a damn good job and will do it right while taking care of your car.

That was HM Motorsports (Herzog Meier). Apex is not affiliated with HM. However they do send work to Apex.

I recommended HM to another member who had a bad experience.

So to set the record straight, I highly recommend Apex.

the black area inside next to the window will get dirt in it and scratch your tint if you dont add the felt..the person who had our tsx before us didnt do it so i have very light scratches on the windows cause of it... all will need to be retinted now =/ sucks

i must say sales men are douche bags..

went to a stealership today to look at a 2010 RDX it had DEEP scratches on the back passenger wheel area that extended to the passenger door. then had front under scratches that were on the passenger side bumper.. it had other things.. wish i could of taken pictures at the time to show you all but anywho for an 2010 it looked like it was beat up from 1999.. and the head guy was trying to tell us its alittle cosmetic and we shouldnt worry about it cause it doesnt hinder the price.. we were like WHAT?!?! its ugly now cause of the damage.. i thought the thing got repo'd and they brought it straight to the lot cause it was so scratched up.. they tried to argue with me that it wasnt a big deal and i said go look at my 05 tsx and tell me if you see any scratches or damage compared to it..not a word after that and they were all i guess we arent making a sell and i was all YUP haha kinda funny but dude really.. if someone bought that thing with all the damage they would be a moron

the one we saw at ron tonkin was alittle better but still for a 2010 i would expect people to treat there vehicles alittle better.. i feel like they are trading them in cause they get beat up so fast and are dumping there problems on to someone else

sooooooooooo figured out why my car sagged alittle more.. the locking part of the coilovers got loose so the kinda started to adjust themselves.. went through and readjusted them.. boy what a pain.. still feel like i need to re-adjust them more

also i noticed that the on the left rear side i have less thread space between the shocks and the adjustment area compaired to the passanger rear side.. anyone know if the effects the shock rebound? or spring stiffness?

If you have the car on stands or whatever so there is no weight on the wheels(eg full droop) and you can turn the springs the there is no preload and it won't affect anything. Just don't adjust the spring perches to raise and lower the cars, that'll affect preload.

hrm, well back off the spring perches until you can barely move the springs, like you do have to turn hard, but they move.

Then put the car back down, roll it a bit, raise it and adjust only with the lower collars (so turn the strut in the base.

When I did it, I would loosen the lower collars, then screw them "up" to the drop I was looking to achieve, or the distance to even it up. Then I'd start turning the strut till it met up with the collar, then to tighten the collar I'd just take a flat head screw driver and give it a lil tap with a hammer. Done.

Holy cow...that's a big difference. I've never seen that amount of space between sides of a car for anything. It's almost as if they mount in different places. Fender gap is the same? Maybe they forgot to put in a spacer, bumpstop, or something. Instead of taking it back out and fixing it they just adjusted it out to fit. You'll need to check upper shock mount. Maybe they put it in upside down!

Carrie and I were toying with the idea of trading up for something that gets better mileage, but that TL payment keeps getting in the way. Not to mention the house needs a new patio-slider and roof. I can't imagine what the market is like right now. Must be like trying to find an affordable house in 2006.

Cayenne?
roof working sucks.. i always have a close call when ever i go on top of a house.. i think it will be the death of me

ya ever since the market crash and people started feeling the pinch they have been holding on to there vehicles longer which in turn means used vehicles are starting to show a shortage which means there prices go up and dealers think they can get away with alot more..

to add to that i could probably trade in my POS truck and get 2600 for it when i know its really worth 1700 tops..

damn, my CD player finally bit the big one. For the longest time it got jammed up, the disc trays are physically crooked, and it's not even recognizing that I still have CDs in trays 5 and 6 (so now they're stuck in there ) And up until recently I was able to play CDs in slots 1-4. Then up until 3 days ago, I was able to only play CDs in slot 1. Now I have to listen to the radio all the time And nobody likes that... Everytime I get in the car and start it up, the CD changer just goes apeshit and the CD in disc 1 got stuck midway through an eject, so the door is permanently open, I can't reach in there and pull the CD out, all the components are obviously misaligned, and I think it's just time to toss it in the trash and pray the CDs I have stuck inside are still in one piece. It's cool, I ordered a new receiver and it should get here early next week

Funniest part is the people on the CL forum insist "You can just unplug the battery, then plug it back in, and it'll work" When I said my disc trays are bent or crooked, and that resetting the thing wouldn't work, they claimed I was obviously doing it wrong. Oh CL forum, it's as if you don't even want to be helpful!

You don't have the Bose system in that do you? If you do, don't you need new wires, speakers and preamp to make a non-factory deck work?

Well I went on crutchfield and bought one of these:
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_127SOEM...4.html?tp=3486

The people on the CL forum said they used that to get any aftermarket radio to work.

I had an iSimple iPhone integration unit installed yesterday and now my XM radio is working without a subscription. I dunno why, but it's 100% working and 100% free to me.
