If that is not what happened in your case, please ask the tech what he/she did to make that service work again.

There was a class action Antitrust Lawsuit that XM/Sirius lost. If you were disco-ed for non-renewal of plan they may have reactivated you so that you can recieve your free one month of service. I got pissed and disconnected all three accounts last month, then got a post card in the mail. I can't remeber all the details regarding the settlement and Carrie has already thrown it out, but I think if you were still a customer you got a month free without doing anything.

Glad to hear your coilovers are back to normal haha. Maybe every oil change and you have the car lifted, just spray some cleaner on the threads so if you have to do it again they wont be so hard to break free

^ good call..
dont think that engine mount should be hard to replace.. im curious why it would go bad in the first place everyone says the TSX engine mounts are pretty stiff and shouldnt be in need of polly ones but i beg to differ i think polly ones would be a vast improvement..

Yeah, I just don't want to deal with cherry picking it and would much rather the stealership do it with warranty for the repairs.
Usually Acura is pretty good at that type of thing considering I am not that far out of warranty for that type of thing and it should not have happened in the first place. None of my modifications would create that much engine torque. The good thing is that the weight is really resting on the frame as opposed to the engine just "floating" on that side lol. I've never noticed it until the front-end got quiet with new struts lol. Doesn't seem to affect the drive.
I'm tempted to take advantage of all of the good trade-in deals right now but just don't want to take on even a small additional car payment.

they must have just made the service free for anyone with a receiver. I'll have to dig out the antenna for the home unit too. Carrie used that one more often than FM.

What is the deal with these points bars. Geez, like some of these AZ lifers need anymore ego boosts...I guess that getting a large number of posts is meaningless anymore. That is fine by me. Some of those guys just post emoticons as a response
Brando, I'm going to start thanking you for all your posts just to see what happens.

Traded in my
damn, my CD player finally bit the big one. For the longest time it got jammed up, the disc trays are physically crooked, and it's not even recognizing that I still have CDs in trays 5 and 6 (so now they're stuck in there ) And up until recently I was able to play CDs in slots 1-4. Then up until 3 days ago, I was able to only play CDs in slot 1. Now I have to listen to the radio all the time And nobody likes that... Everytime I get in the car and start it up, the CD changer just goes apeshit and the CD in disc 1 got stuck midway through an eject, so the door is permanently open, I can't reach in there and pull the CD out, all the components are obviously misaligned, and I think it's just time to toss it in the trash and pray the CDs I have stuck inside are still in one piece. It's cool, I ordered a new receiver and it should get here early next week
Funniest part is the people on the CL forum insist "You can just unplug the battery, then plug it back in, and it'll work" When I said my disc trays are bent or crooked, and that resetting the thing wouldn't work, they claimed I was obviously doing it wrong. Oh CL forum, it's as if you don't even want to be helpful!

#4985
I just noticed i have metals now too =)

Took it to Ken's Autobody in Woodburn..my dad works for them and I did too last summer and they do good work. It also helped that the insurance company of the guy that hit me works with them so no need to get appraisals and approvals before work gets done..they just handle it all. I'm just bummed to lose my original bumper. Wish I had a lip kit to get painted too while they have it..lol
#4987
^ see if they can save the left over paint for you that they used to match it then you can always have it sprayed on later..

Bleh, got my recall notice for the airbag in my CL. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to inspect/replace it? From the looks of the recall notice, it sounds like it only affects cars that have had their airbag replaced. I doubt my car has had that (didn't see anything about an accident or anything on the AutoCheck I got when I bought the car) so my bet is that they're just gonna inspect it, and see it needs no work done, and let me be on my way. However of course I'm unsure, so they could end up replacing it. Anyone know how long it takes for them to replace it? The recall notice says "plan on leaving your car for half a day" but I figured dealers don't like doing recall work, so they'll get it done and out as fast as possible.

EDs muffler??
#4992
Same here, tried it today on the way in and it is not working. Odd how it was up for only a couple of days (COULD HAVE BEEN THE ENTIRE MONTH OF MAY FOR ALL i KNOW).
We had so many bad experiences with XM/sirius Customer Service that I would never recommend their products. Not to mention the inferior sound quality. :thumbsdow
Made me realize how many better sounding alternatives I have i.e, i-pod, burned CD's .

ADD another CRAP-tacular notch to the DC exhaust.. the resonator rattle has gotten worse due to the inside welding rusting and breaking up.. ordered a Aero resonator.. suppose to be better then the magnaCrap ones so we will see once its installed how much of a difference it makes..
#4994
hey my activity level went down alittle damnit!
#4996
^ they did a nice job.. is that a 10??.. box looks too small to be for a 12.. very similar to the box im doing for my sub if i ever get back around to doing it.. ive been super swamped lately..
#4997
Yeah it's a 10, I had an unused DD Audio 12 that I put in trade towards getting all this. A 12 would have been to big for that small of a box.

yeah I got my stereo stuff a couple days ago. After seeing the sheer amount of wiring harnesses and adapters, I'm considering taking it to Stereo King or something and having them do everything... I haven't even tried to do it myself, but I'm already feeling a bit overwhelmed
