Well it comes down to the design of the bumper. The lower sections on the sides help direct air around the wheels and down the side of the car and under the center of the car. This reduces lift and drag and helps fuel economy. When you put that center section in, it removes that natural effect of the bumper's frontal area and brings a bunch of turbulence to the area, slowing the air down and increasing the pressure.

There is no way to do any kind of monitoring or piping of data into the stock ecu either way since there is no FP support. If you had a downpipe with no cat, sure you could put a WB in there and datalog it direct to your computer with the right connection.

The stock car does have a WB already though, and you can kinda monitor that via a canbus data logger but it's not the best solution.

As for how lean it gets, I have no idea. Haven't taken the time to research and haven't made any exhaust mods on mine to find out. Honestly, this car with an intake on it is so annoying to drive daily. The turbo makes so many stupid sounds at part throttle it drove me crazy. When you go wot, it shuts up and doesn't really sound any different than the stock intake... so who cares?

^ good points.. just would of thought it would help control the A/F ratio better.. ugh.. the motor alone begs for a tuning system.. imagine what you could do then.. i suppose i need to get an rdx before i go too far in depth on my thoughts for it

It isn't about the sensor, it's about the intake. The stock WBo2 works fine regardless. If the intake's diameter and flow dynamics are changed from stock without re-calibrating the ECU (impossibru currently), then the ECU will think there is more / less air going into the engine than there actually is... and ish will go whack.

my front lip takes on the aspects of the front bumper for the most part it does look like it has a splitting feature to it though at higher speeds i do feel alittle less float but it could be in my head..

Nice pic. I'm still dreaming of something fun to drive. Seems like everytime I find some extra money, there is a major bill that comes.

no.. infact i probably wont do anything to the car unless i need to.. was thinking about new wheels earlier and stuff but now i rather just start over with something else.. car has near 100k miles i want something with 50k or less =) feel like its alittle dated on technology too.. no bluetooth

To be honest I started with the back of the house, however when I got to the front, the 30 foot drop scared the crap out of me. I just left the pealing trim as it was. I'm just to much of a chicken shit to stand on a ladder at that hieght.

I sealed the bottom of the garage door with clear siding caulk to keep it from falling apart, but they'll need to be replaced by \/
