f'ing long day. parted out everything on the fx except few things that are not worth taking it off and H&R springs as well since i didn't keep the oem springs.

if offer for the fx is no good at toyota, we're definitely buying something else for all this part out effort. one modded car in the family is good enough now. getting old. bodyaches..

Lexus CT? Looks good but way too expensive for that little bugger. Starts at $32k and interior is cramped too. Prius is very spacious inside with plenty of cargo room that almost matches our FX.

Here's my sneak preview for the meet








Stayed at the dealer from 12pm ~ 6pm. Not because of the price dealing, but making up decision what to buy and how to finance it. Thankfully dealer guy was very patient while we were making up a decision (but he went away with easy price dealing) for hours.

Think we never discussed this much making a purchase.
1. Prius vs. Prius V
2. Decided on a Prius. Took a longer test drive. Lease vs. Loan & how much to down
3. Spotted new Rav4 Limited with gorgeous interior. Price was very attractive too $28888. Go out for a drive. Loved it. Decision changed to Rav4. Started dealing and found out no 0% financing like the Prius. Lease rate is higher as well.





4. Changed back to Prius. Sign off my FX. Sign up for the Prius is 48mo. @ 0%. Got introduced to Parts dept for some accessories. Learn Prius's features, take out junks in the FX. Done.

Ordered a HID kit, tint next week, stick on the couple accessories today. After that just gas and go. Currently gas tank is full and have 600 miles to empty (11.9 gallon gas tank).

my grandma bought a new rav4 sat in it and like it too.. no leather seats though =( had the carbon fiber trim that i really like.. and the sport shift is nice too.. wish there was a aftermarket for the engine though

The one I test drove have exact same interior as a pic above. Very very rich interior that kind of resemble Lexus. Lots of features as well for the money. Pressing a ECO mode numbs throttle response and steering gets lighter. In Sport mode, very responsive throttle and heavier steering. I test drove the 2013 CR-V as well, and I will definitely buy this one over the CR-V.

And I thought engine was V8 after test driving a Prius haha

Recycle? Ever wonder if it takes more energy to rinse out the mayo jar than to make it? Wouldn't it be better just to toss it in the trash rather than use all that hot water to try and get all those tiny pieces of mayo out of the corners?

I don't clean the mayo jar, I just toss it in uncapped in the recycle and figure some rats at the recycle center will clean it out for me
