Hey there 05TLrider yep that was me you saw crusing on Radio Dr with my kid in the back seat LOL.
Anyway all I have is the body kit and throwing some 18's on soon. I dont have any performance mods just bought this thing to have fun this summer and probably will keep it. This is my second TL but I really want a 6 speed with Nav then that will be the keeper. Almost had one bought that fell through. I swap cars like every other week pretty much. LOL.
Anyway I am not far away off 19 and Lake let me know and we can check out the cars. Thanks. You can shoot me an e-mail to edsdds@comcast.net

Bad news................might have a problem with the rear suspension on my car........so far it just looks like a bad endlink, but that was a quick look at it at 1130 last night. I'm gonna put it on some ramps tonight and get a better look. I'm hoping that I don't have any subframe damage that people have been experiencing!

Did you just throw new end links on last fall? Snap a pic while you're under there or when you get it out of the car. I'd be curious to see what actually failed.

Yeah last spring/summer I installed them (Moog endlinks). I'll definitely grab a couple pics and post them for folks. From what it looks like, the rubber boot appears to have cracked and leaks grease out the bottom where the endlink connects to the RSB. It was difficult to see anything considering the car was on the ground and it's lowered, but that's what I could tell with a 2 second glance.
I'm actually thinking about removing the Progress RSB and re-installing the OEM RSB, or I may buy a Type-S front and rear sway bar to install instead. It all depends on what I find tonight.

See? You really should have stayed and drank beer with us that night instead of installing the RSB.
But seriously, what a pisser. If you do decide to unload the Progress RSB, let me know. We could maybe even work out some sort of a trade if you're interested. I believe the 6MT cars have larger diameter sways than the autos do.

^^ Thanks for the part numbers. I think I'm going to hold off on the FSB, because you have to drop the sub-frame to get the FSB in/out. The rear is much easier.....but you still need a lot of patience getting them in/out. I'm ordering the RSB and suspension though!
Are the type-s links any different than the stock TL?

We could meet up at Mall of America again?? A park would be better though so we could BBQ and shit...

Hey Travis those are nice. When are you installing. What rubber are you putting on them. Slapy a park would be great, the Mall to, but the Mall attracks law inforcement. We could meet there and cross the River there are some parks along the river, or we could cruise to Harriet Island and BBQ there.

I like Takata 18's suggestion of heading over to Harriet Island. That gives a more relaxed atmosphere than just a parking lot. Especially if we're going to do some grilling. It gives us a better chance to hang out and socialize, maybe even throw some ball or something. Not to mention the scenery is better.

^^ I don't think you're a stalker....just didn't realize you put your email on here lol
I'm off this Friday and will be working on my TL all day doing "stuff" to it, so if you're interested in stopping by you're more than welcome. I'll email you later this week.
Also, I'm definitely more interested in meeting at Harriet Island instead of the mall parking lot!

LOL hey no worries shoot me an e-mail, I wouldl ove to swing by and be nosy and pretend I know about cars and stuff.
Anyway Harriet Island is not really an Island it just a nice park right infron tof the Mississippi across from Downtown St Paul. The Mall of America is probably about 15 minutes away....give or take a few.

Oh, just a quick update on whats goin on with me and my car.
-Carbon fiber hood came, is damaged, and will either be replaced or refunded.
-PIcked up JDM bumper today, looks sick
-picked up grill, looks good
Still have to do the following stuff *cough*jorge*cough*..
-Install new hood shocks
-install new spark plugs
-figure out how to wire foglights
-replace headlights and bulbs
-install new bumper and grill, possibly hood
-clean engine bay
-get new fender liner
I think we could knock this out in one productive saturday, food is on me for anyone who comes out and helps.. but i think it'll have to be done at jorge's, just for simplicities sake, and that he has all the tools etc, plus a nice working area
