Damn matt you got a lot to get done next weekend! I'd be hesitant to clear coat the film...I would try a test piece first. Plus if you wrap the film like I mentioned adding layers of clear coat may make it difficult to fit pieces back in place afterwards. I had a little trouble with one I did. I'll be doing a few pieces this week so I'll keep you posted on tips/tricks. You should bring the hid kit by when you get it and I'll look at the connectors and I'll try to give you some ideas on hooking them up.

Out of curiousity, what are you doing with your old hood matt? I may be interested in taking it off your hands if you're just going to throw it out....it will save me a trip to the junkyard to pickup a scrap fender to practice doing body work on. Just thought I'd ask.

Yeah once I get the kit I will bring it over, and then you can have my hood once i switch them... Any chance you could come over saturday and help us do the install?
And I looked at the video and it seems pretty easy if you just do it after you install it, and then it should last a little longer at least.

Interior LED Swap
So it's about that time I do an interior LED swap and replace the coffee color lights with some blue LEDs! I am planning on buying the kit from LEDautomotive.com. Here's the link to the kit: http://ledautomotive.com/category.php?id_category=19. I can either buy the LEDs that require me to solder a resistor and the LED into the stock bulb housing, or with no soldering required but these LEDs cost twice as much. I am probably going to go with the LEDs that require no soldering to make the install a lot easier. I know some of you have performed this swap [Kyle]. Where did you get your LEDs from? I would greatly appreciate it if you guys would help me perform this modification since I have no idea how to dissemble my dashboard.

My car looks completely different, can't wait to hook up the fogs.
I'll post pics of everything tomorrow, I'm so tired, I just finished working on it, and we started around 10am

Sorry I didn't make it yesterday matt, but I fell back asleep waiting for you to send me jorges address and then your phone call woke me up yesterday afternnon. What was wrong with the power steering hose? What do you have left? When are planning on finishing everything up?
Can't wait to see pics of everything, or to see it in person!

The power steering pressure hose (I think thats what it was called), had a crack and leak, and was dripping the power steering fluid out onto my alternator pulley, which was causing that god awful squeal. That thing was a bitch to get out, and Jorge, my man, took it on head-on... We helped but he just went for it, and got it done, so everything is fixed in that department now.
As for the foglights I still need someone to help me do the wiring.. I have been reading some of the write-ups, and it seems that the daytime bulbs are where most people are splicing their power from... Whenever I get to get this done, I will also need to cut out a small part of my bumper that is pushing up against the new bumper cover.
I'll put up pics in just a little bit of everything so far!

i got a real CF hood and the mugen grill, but the hood was broken when they shipped it to me, so I am waiting for the new one before I put on the new grill.
And I think I am going to wait to put the 18's on til I get some new brakes and pads, these ones are too dusty

^^ If you're going Saturday, I'll definitely join you!
The new bumper looks good matt. Looks like you have a couple wrinkles in the carbon fiber pillars....if you need help working them out let me know. I'd also be willing to help you with the fogs too. If it were me though, I'd pull a dedicated power source for them. I'll be working on car again this weekend and probably most nights this week. It seems like I have too many things to do and no time to do them.
