i got mine from ebay. VIS carbon fiber hood is the only way to go. more expensive but the quality surpasses other hoods

So I still have not received everything from my suspension order that I placed last July! Thus, I am taking action and should have my parts within three weeks. I can't install my new wheels/tires until I install my new suspension set-up. I was wondering if you guys would help me install the components. Here's what needs to be installed: Ksport coilovers, Eibach front/rear sway bars, and Eibach front/rear alignment kits. I believe you guys said we could tackle this, but you recommended that I have a specialist perform my alignment. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys would help me out with this! Of course, I would provide food and what not

If you need someone to do your alignment i know a guy. He is a good friend of mine. He is a tech at hoover alignment in Minneapolis. He is the only one i let touch my suspension.

My old car was an '04 dodge Stratus and one afternoon after an AutoX race my left front wheel was pointing left while the other wheels were straight. Needless to say that was bad... He came over to my house and lined it up with a tape measure and a crescent wrench without lifting the car up in the air. he did that until we had time to get it in his shop to do a real alignment on it. this guy is good.


If he does your alignment at his shop during business hours he will have to charge regular price. If he does the job after hours he may be able to cut you a deal. I cant guarantee a super low price but i can guarantee great work...

Holy hell. What did you order that could have POSSIBLY taken nearly a year to arrive?

It's not too difficult of an install if you have a garage with the right tools lined up to do the install. What sort of timeframe are you looking at?

We can try to install as much as we can you need to set up a weekend to do this! You must plan on starting early AM Like 8:00 AM so we can get this done. Not show up at 9:30 or 10:00 and expect to get every thing done.
Also have installation instructions, and all the proper hardware were we do not have to go get things.

I ordered the Eibach Pro-System-Plus Kit (Pro-Kit, Pro-Damper Kit & Anti-Roll Kit) [4041.68], Pro-Alignment Kit (front +1.5 / +3 degrees of adjustment) [5.67320K], and Eibach Pro-Alignment Kit (rear adj arm -2. / +4. degrees of adjustment) [5.67090K]. I have received everything besides the shocks, but there is still an expected wait for at least another month! Thus, I am calling Assaultech Performance and canceling my order with them on Monday and going to place my new order with Modern Automotive Performance.

I have a friend who has a lift in his garage; he gave us permission to do the install at his place in Newport. Once I get my suspension parts, I would like to do the install as soon as possible. I have to get my coilovers with a custom spring rate to support my audio system. I should receive everything in about two to three weeks.

I am unsure of what tools are going to be required to do this install. I have hardly any tools in my garage; it's kind of pitiful. If you let me know what tools we are going to need, I will get my hands on them! I am going to do some research and find some DIY's for suspension installs for 2nd Gen CL's. This should help us, but I am hoping it won't be much different doing a suspension install on my CL than when you performed them on your Acura's.

Trust me, it will be worth your time!

So I went to my friend's place Thursday evening and stayed the night at her place. When I woke-up for class and went out to my whip, I noticed someone had hit me my car and ran without even leaving a note. I took matters into my own hands and performed an investigation. Long story short, I caught the asshole today and should have my whip looking like it did before this guy carelessly backed into my car with his damn Lexus.

On a brighter note, who all went to Cars & Cafe today? I was going to roll out with Matt, but he forgot he had tickets to the Twins game today. I was still gonna roll out there but I partied to the wee hours this morning and did not feel like bringing my injured car to a meet of that caliber looking the way it does right meow.
